The traffic continues to get worse in San Francisco Bay Area and decision makers are trying to decide alternatives to relief local traffic congestion. The state Caltrans transportation agency wants toll paying lanes from Mountain View, to South San Francisco cities along Highway 101. However, local leaders and legislators are not sure about toll lanes to relief traffic congestion along the Peninsula. Some local leaders are not supportive of the EIR (Environmental Impact Report) findings because it won't consider carpool lanes for alternative.

The RM3 (Regional Measure 3) state transportation funding is facing challenges because of a lawsuit filed at Superior Court by Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association. The RM3 initiative was approved by voters to raise bridge toll fees within San Francisco Bay Area - having available funding for transportation projects. The lawsuit will provide problems with Bay Area transportation elements because it may delay funding release for ongoing improvement projects.

The AC (Alameda-Contra Costa) transit agency transbay service is moving to Salesforce Transit Center on Sunday, August 12, 2018. The AC transbay services will operate from Salesforce Transit Center in San Francisco thereafter opening celebration on Saturday, August 11, 2018. The Salesforce Transit Center will become the hub of transportation services within regional areas of San Francisco Bay Area. The AC transbay buses will operate from level 3 of therein hub center for passengers commuting across the Bay Area.

The historic Aquatic Park in San Francisco is considering to rebuild the pier with awesome eye-view of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. Including possible transit connection to Fort Mason with bicycling and walking railways within the northern waterfront regional area. The local city planners and other agencies will consider all options to resolve transit between Fort Mason and Aquatic Park. The Fort Mason pavilions have been great for conventions and festivals with inconvenience access to Aquatic Park hotels.

The annual San Francisco Marathon is happening this Sunday and impacting local traffic with road closures. The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Agency) is planning to reroute muni bus lines for passengers and marathon runners to make it easier. The marathon will begin 5:30 AM at Mission and Embarcadero for 26.2 miles around San Francisco along the waterfront going north. The competitive top three males and females will be recognized thereafter the marathon race and given prices with awards.

The San Francisco Bay Area has been hit with fire damages within local communities and impacting roadways and highways for commuting passengers. One of the most eye-viewing location for touring is Yosemite National Park and wildfires are impacting roadways and local businesses. The southern part of Santa Clara County was impacted with fire this week in San Martin communities, and causing Highway 101 to close and reopened again. The fire caused a mixture of burning structures along Monterey Road and no injuries were reported.

The Muni Mission Bay Loop Project for third street light railway trains have increased to $1.4 million more to improve Golden State Warriors fan services. The grand total for muni services project in San Francisco costing amount is now $10.2 million to install electric cable covering. The improvement project is to increase services for Warriors and Giants fans including railway train services to Chinatown. The SFPUC (San Francisco Public Utilities Commission) highly recommended therein electric cable covering for efficiency and protection.

The Napa Valley is recovering from major fire damages and visionary ways to relief traffic congestion on Highway 37 within San Francisco Bay Area. The Common Ground group of professionals and local leaders are looking at resolutions to improve Highway 37 within the region. Including ways and means of development for the regional area with a proposal for "The Grand Bayway" project. Another shared development concept is having a crossover walkway and bikeway for people going over Highway 37.

The Elevator Attendant program for BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) stations in San Francisco at Powell Street and Civic Center is been extended to November 2019. The partnership pilot program is to keep therein BART stations clean, safe, and healthy for commuting passengers. The Elevator Attendant program is a partnership effort by SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) and BART to protect passengers. The partnership program is funded by BART and SFMTA through the community and hire local workers to make it happen.

The SamTrans transit agency Express Bus Lanes feasibility study has lowered potential highway express lanes down to six. The SamTrans will have therein express lanes along Highway 101 serving San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara counties throughout the Bay Area. The SamTrans transit agency goal is having direct and fast transportation services for passengers commuting within long range duration. There may be three express lanes directly connected to the new Salesforce Transbay Transit Center in San Francisco.
