VTA TRANSIT RELEASING FUNDS WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The appealing legal challenge against VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) has been refused by legal courts and allowing therein release of initiative funding. The VTA administration announced that Measure B funding is ready for spending on critical transportation projects in South Bay. The VTA transit agency issued initiative funding checks for local cities and Santa Clara County for transit improvement projects. The record shows VTA has collected approximately $360 million for therein measure approval. The initiative funding was provided to ensure local cities can fix their roadway improvement projects and fix potholes. The VTA transit agency will administer therein funding for local transportation projects for improvement in South Bay.
