The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) agency is upgrading the concrete platform at El Cerrito del Norte Station on Monday, July 20, 2020. It's part of the BART improvement projects during lower ridership times to avoid any major problems with passengers when ridership picks up to higher numbers. The BART contractor's construction crew will replace and resurface the concrete at therein plaza outside the gates. The Caltrain transit agency in San Francisco Bay Area is questioning therein continuation of services in West Bay. Because the San Francisco Board of Supervisors denied Caltrain's tax initiative proposal for the upcoming election in November. The Caltrain tax measure has to be approved by Santa Clara, San Mateo, and San Francisco Counties before therein measure becomes officially part of the elections. The Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties approved therein tax ballot measure to help Caltrain maintain services with funding needs.

The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) is sharing their support for local small businesses with transit services during these COVID-19 challenging times. The MTC Clipper START program will provide passengers with 50% discount rates with transit traveling fees in San Francisco Bay Area. The Clipper START pilot program is for 18 months and may extend if everything goes well because ridership is slowly picking up. The commuting passengers can use therein discount rates when using other specific public transit service agencies in the Bay Area.

The AC (Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District) agency in East Bay is not operating some transit services because of low ridership created by COVID-19 pandemic. The AC Transit agency is negatively impacted by therein COVID-19 health pandemic in San Francisco Bay Area like other transit agencies. The COVID-19 Shelter-In-Place orders throughout the state is uncertain at times and uncertain to transit agencies transporting essential passengers. Some passengers are saying, "they should have no more COVID-19 testing because that's why there will always be more infections.

The GGBHTD (Golden Gate Bridge Highway & Transportation District) agency is temporarily suspending some transit bus routes in North Bay. It will operate with modified transit schedules accordingly to match current ridership levels, and will add transit services back when ridership picks up again in North Bay. The GGBHTD transit agency service routes will operate half-hour during busy commuting times with flexibility to transport passengers.

The SFO (San Francisco International Airport) commercial airport in West Bay is partnering with Neste Company for sustainable aviation fuel. The SFO/Neste Company partnership is to have "zero net carbon" airlines fuel energy going into our local landfills. The SFO and Neste Company signed a partnership MOU (Memorandum Of Understanding) during 2018 to expand the use of sustainable aviation fuel with low-emissions. The partnership pioneer agreement was able to allow Neste Company to deliver it's first sustainable aviation fuel to SFO Airport.

The VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) and BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) partnership is upgrading the Milpitas Transit Center in South Bay. The Montague Expressway in Milpitas near the Great Mall will be closed Friday, July 10, 2020 to Monday, July 13, 2020 at certain hours. The roadway closure will be to hoist a pedestrian bridge to upgrade therein Milpitas Transit Center accessibility for traveling passengers.

The AC (Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District) transit agency has named their BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) bus Tempo regarding services in East Bay.
