The OAK (Oakland International Airport) commercial airport in East Bay reports more passengers traveling with 13.6% increase. The OAK Airport identifies 43,490 more passengers traveled in October 2020 versus September 2020 as well as more air cargo transporting activities. The airport also noted the decrease with air traveling passengers between October 2020 versus October 2019 with 67.3% difference.

The BART agency recently recognized agents Dee Malabuyo and Ed Buenger for going beyond their regular duties to help commuting passengers when necessary. The CalSTA (California State Transportation Agency) assembled a Task Force regarding transferring railway services in North Bay. The SMART (Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit) agency is identified to take over southern part of NCRA (North Coast Railroad Authority) services. The transferring services agreement has to go through therein legislative process with an assessment study aligned with SB1029 (Senate Bill 1029). The SMART agency will become responsible for services from NCRA if everything goes well as planned and aligned with therein study Assessment Report findings.
