The new air filters will provide cleaner filtered air in every train car during every 70 seconds, and protecting passengers from COVID-19 particles transmission.

The SMART (Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit) agency in North Bay successfully refinanced its new transit systems construction project. The SMART transit agency sold $122.97 million in Green Bonds regarding therein project outstanding debt with savings for available pricing bonds in the market. The SMART refinancing bond approach was rated AA with a designation under GBP (Green Bond Principles) standards and aligned with environmentally beneficial projects.

The WETA (Water Emergency Transportation Authority) agency in West Bay is sharing their $1 per ferry ride promotion in San Francisco Bay Area. It's the WETA administration way of thanking essential workers with 'Dollar Days On The Bay' and welcoming new ferry customers! The ferry agency $1 per ride for each commuting passenger will be for the whole month of November 2020, and aligned with Thanksgiving Day coming up in the Bay Area. The WETA ferry agency will continue to offer fresh air rides across the Bay Area with pleasant eye viewing scenery for passengers.

The Alameda CTC (County Transportation Commission) agency in East Bay express lane project on Highway 680 is open for driving vehicles. The Alameda CTC agency partners with Caltrans (California Department of Transportation) to perform and complete therein Express Lane project going northbound. The partnership agencies provided a virtual opening ceremony and thanking the public for their patience during the project construction. The new express lane is on Highway 680 going northbound and Highway/SR-84 (State Route 84) at Sunol to ease highway traffic congestion.

The SCMTD (Santa Cruz Metropolitan Transit District) agency in South Bay is offering free rides for voters during Election Day like other transit agencies. The Santa Cruz Metro in San Francisco Bay Area is joining other transit agencies to provide promotional free rides for voters within Santa Cruz County. It will continue to uphold COVID-19 health and safety standard guidelines to protect passengers and transit operating drivers.

The SolTrans (Solano County Transit) agency in North Bay is implementing service changes effective Sunday, December 6, 2020. The SolTrans transit agency is making minimal service changes as COVID-19 restrictions are starting to open, and transit service needs for essential workers are starting to increase. The transit agency will continue to monitor traveling patterns and make service changes based on passengers feedback from service communities. The SolTrans agency will implement two pilot projects with roundtrips from Vallejo to San Francisco for Route 82.

The WETA (Water Emergency Transportation Agency) ferry agency in West Bay awards $30 million for two ferry vessels in the Bay Area. The WETA ferry services agency Board of Directors approved therein funding amount for Mavrik Marine Inc. in contract for two ferry vessels. The WETA fleet will have two new high-speed ferry vessels to replace other two vessels out of services in San Francisco Bay Area. The two new ferry vessels will become the fastest within the WETA fleet with improved efficiency services.

The AC (Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District) agency in East Bay will start collecting passenger fees/fares effective Monday, November 9, 2020. The AC Transit Tempo Line 1T will start checking for passenger fees/fares onboard the routing line. The transit agency is sharing with passengers to be aware of having a paid ticket onboard Tempo Line 1T, and fare inspectors will issue violation tickets for passengers without proof of a paid ticket. The passengers can use a Clipper Car for payment, paper ticket, and/or with an active AC Transit pass for Tempo Line 1T transporting services.

The SCCRTC (Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission) agency in South Bay is partnering with the state transportation agency regarding therein Highway 17 project. The SCCRTC is partnering with Caltrans (California Department of Transportation) for the Highway 17 improvement project, and offering traffic advisory for drivers on Highway 17 during the project constructions. The Culvert Rehabilitation Work on Highway 17 will take effect on Sunday, November 1, 2020 for two weeks until Friday, November 13, 2020 between Scotts Valley and Summit Road.
