NEW HIGH SPEED FERRY WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA
The WETA (Water Emergency Transportation Authority) Board of Directors approved $13 million contract to build a new high speed ferry in San Francisco Bay Area. The contract is awarded to Mavrik Marine Inc. to build therein 300 passengers high speed vessel for ferry services improvement. The high speed vessel will enhance ferry services for San Francisco Bay Area and expected to be in service during 2020. It's another vessel added to therein WETA fleet of ferry vessels to improve services for passengers since 2017.
