The Marin Transit services in North Bay will be adjusted effective Sunday, September 13, 2020. The transit agency services will eliminate and/or limit other routes, and other service routes will be operating with split schedules. The transit Route 233 will not serve certain stops going northbound and southbound, and Route 22 will not serve southern stops at College of Marin. The transit Route 61 will no longer serve Stinson Beach parking lot and passengers can use the downtown Stinson Beach stop for services.

The Alameda CTC (County Transportation Commission) in East Bay is awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in financial accountability. The SamTrans Board of Directors approved therein Bay Area Healthy Plan to be consistent with other transit agencies in San Francisco Bay Area. The SolTrans (Solano County Transit) agency is rerouting some North Bay transit routes effective Wednesday, September 16, 2020. Because of the Caltrans (California Department of Transportation) construction project on Highway 29/SR-29 (State Route 29) for six miles along Sonoma Blvd. in Vallejo. The Caltrans repair crew team will do repavement repair work on SR-29 and it may take few weeks for completion. The Caltrans will have one lane open during construction work and it may require some temporary roadway closures in the process.

The SJC (San Jose International Airport) commercial airport in South Bay with partnering agencies have won a distinguished award. The Mineta SJC Airport together with partnership agencies and Southwest Airlines won the IPI (International Partnering Institute) Diamond Partnering Level Award. The partnership distinguished award was earned by the successful completion of therein Interim Facility Project at SJC Airport. The partnership project was essentially critical for more passengers traveling through SJC Airport during the last four years in Silicon Valley.

The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) will enforce residential parking in West Bay effective Monday, September 14, 2020. The business communities in San Francisco are starting to open and parking is essential for customers and local residents - temporarily suspended caused by therein COVID-19 pandemic. The SFMTA Parking Officers have started issuing warning notices for drivers regarding parking enforcement and having enough time for preparation.

The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) agency is closing tracks at Bay Fair and South Hayward stations in East Bay for repairs. The BART improvement project repairs will happen over Labor Day weekend starting Saturday, September 5, 2020 and transit buses will be available to transport passengers between therein closing station locations. The AC (Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District) transit agency will provide free bus rides for passengers during the closing weekend for BART repairs in East Bay.

The GGBHTD (Golden Gate Bridge Highway & Transportation District) agency is proposing to expand transit services discount fees for the Clipper START program in North Bay. The Clipper START pilot program in San Francisco Bay Area is for low-income passengers to get 50% discount fees to ride transit. The GGBHTD agency proposal is to include transit services within Marin County for therein discount fare program, and a public hearing is set for Thursday, September 24, 2020.
