The Santa Cruz METRO transit agency is introducing their new apps to help customers with parking and improving their commuting experience. The parking app can allow passengers traveling for a long distance to park overnight at Scotts Valley Transit Center when using express transit services. It can connect commuting passengers to San Jose Diridon Station for other transit services in South Bay.

The SolTrans (Solano County Transit) agency is planning to detour transit services for Routes 7A and 7B in North Bay. The identified transit service routes will be detoured during therein Caltrans (California Department of Transportation) improvement project in October 2020. The SolTrans agency is supporting therein Caltrans local project by detouring 7A and 7B routing services to have the project completed as planned. The Caltrans improvement project will impact commuting on Highway 80 with six bridges construction.

The Spirit Airlines have been operating at OAK Airport since 2011 and planning to have two daily nonstop flights to southern California. The airlines have year-round nonstop flight services to Las Vegas and Los Angeles from OAK Airport. Including flight services to Chicago, Detroit, and Houston during the summer season with available options during the basic airfare purchase.

The Santa Cruz Metro transit agency in South Bay is launching their service changes during the fall season until further notice. The transit service routes for Santa Cruz County public schools will remain suspended including bus Routes 15, 20D, 22 as well as supplemental trips for Routes 35 and 91X. The transit routes for Highway 17 Express Services will operate with separate weekday and weekend schedules. The suspended transit services for Routes 40, 41, 72W, and 74S have been restored, and any other routes not listed on therein fall season schedules are not in service.

The Caltrain transit agency in West Bay is expanding their bicycle lockers for traveling passengers. The Caltrain Board of Directors approved a contract with eLock Technologies LLC to create more electronic lockers for commuting passengers. The Caltrain agency has served approximately 10,000 passengers with bicycles during weekday schedules, before therein COVID-19 pandemic, and having more electronic lockers available is essentially necessary. The transit agency's bicycle lockers capital improvement project is aligned with therein Electrification Project and the Caltrain Business Plan.
