The Capitol Corridor 10-Ride Tickets package is intended to use for 10 oneway trips within 45 days, and passengers can use it within 60 days per extension. The funding is from a sale of the downtown SMART property to construct therein second train station in Petaluma. The new train station was already part of the initial plan to have two train stations in Petaluma, and taking tireless negotiating efforts between partnership agencies. The escrow deal is scheduled to close during November 2020, and funding will help with designing and construction of therein second SMART train station.
