The transit agency board approved free rides for passengers starting on Saturday, October 31, 2020 until election day in North Bay. It will give local passengers an opportunity to have a free ride to the polling places to vote without worrying about transportation on election day. The SFO (San Francisco International Airport) commercial airport in West Bay is launching a Simplified Arrivals processing for international arriving passengers. It's a facial comparison technology system operated by USCBP (U.S. Customs & Border Patrol) agents at the airport, and same technology system used by other airports nationwide to expedite therein arriving passengers processing. The SFO Airport Simplified Arrivals process will allow USCBP agents to automatically match the international arriving passengers with their traveling documents.

The AC (Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District) agency in East Bay is opening their Customer Services Office today on Monday, October 12, 2020 for services. The AC Transit will temporarily have their customer services center at the General Office location in downtown Oakland - 1600 Franklin Street. The customer service hours of operation will be from 8 AM to 5 PM on Monday to Friday during weekdays.
