The new train cars have less seats and more standing space for passengers with bicycles, and will plan to run more cars for each trains.

Tesla auto makers received a warning letter from Germany's auto regulating authority officials regarding the autopilot feature. German authority officials are sharing misleading concerns with the Tesla cars autopilot feature, because it sends a wrong message to drivers. Auto officials want Tesla to stop using the misleading word "autopilot" during marketing and advertisements. The same agency sent approximately 3,300 letters to Tesla car owners in Germany regarding the autopilot feature.

Airline travelers within San Francisco Bay Area airports and nationwide will not be able to fly with their personal Samsung Galaxy Note-7 smartphones. Because U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) issued an emergency declaration for all passengers traveling on airplanes to ban carrying their smartphones effective this past weekend. The smartphones are banned and cannot be packed in passengers luggage and/or shipment air cargo because of safety reasoning.

The County of San Mateo released a draft of their transportation plan aligned with MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) Plan Bay Area 2040. Including possible funding to help with the county local traffic congestion, and making local transportation economically and environmentally safe and healthy.

The traffic congestion in San Francisco Bay Area on local highways and roadways continue to impact working class people commuting to work everyday. An option for ferry services has been approved by California PUC (Public Utilities Commission) for two ferry services agencies - Tideline and Prop. This provides commuting passengers optional ways to cross the bay from eastern regional areas to San Francisco avoiding vehicular traffic. This approach is considered "water taxi" using ferry boats and some water taxing services can reach Redwood City, California.

Transportation in San Francisco Bay Area is becoming more challenging especially for working class people and travelers on personal or business endeavors. The new Warm Spring BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) station in southern part of Fremont, California is planning to open soon before upcoming elections in November. The new BART station projected costing amount is $890 million and hoping voters will approve a ballot bond measure for BART funding assistance.

The San Francisco Bay Area regional study report identifies various counties with traffic congestion areas. The MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) released annual report identifies Santa Clara County with 4 major traffic congested highway arteries. The report also identifies nearly 30% of the Bay Area public transit systems have past their usefulness for people. The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) system is 71% beyond it's useful for passengers and needs service improvement for the fleet.

The muni transportation system in San Francisco continues to investigate last Monday's bus accident for safety reasoning. The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) provided information to city mayor's office regarding a computer error that may have caused the muni bus accident. The reports identifies a computer glitch error was malfunctioning during the muni bus operation, and created the bus breaks to not operate accordingly as necessary. The bus involved in the accident was one of an older aging bus constructed by Electric Transit Inc.

The Tesla Motors in Palo Alto, California is rebounding with more luxury cars during quarterly deliveries. It's reported that 70% of Tesla cars will be delivered during third quarter and vehicles have been improved. The production problems have been resolved and adding more cars to 24,500 to deliver since June including better lease deals for customers. The fall season usually brings new favorable car deals and prices, and getting ready for new expedited car deliveries.

Some local political leaders are considering public transit extension as traffic continues to get worse in San Francisco Bay Area. The traffic congestion along Interstate Highway 580 gets bad everyday during commuting hours for working class people in Central Valley. That's exactly why Alameda County Supervisor Scott Haggerty is taking the lead to help Central Valley commuters and seeking to extend BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) services. He is proposing to extend BART services to Livermore, and connecting with other transit services between San Jose and Stockton.
