The growing economy in San Francisco Bay Area comes along with transportation issues, and creating traffic congestion along local highways and roadways. The new study report by Institute for Regional Studies indicate some good news for the local economy, and bad news is creating more traffic congestion for working class people. A total of 39,800 people have relocated within Silicon Valley and Peninsula regional areas for housing including transportation needs. Daily commuters spent more time on the road and not getting any work done, and creating unhealthy issues of concern and stress.

The Tesla Motors in San Francisco Bay Area shared changes regarding supercharging stations nationwide and worldwide networks. The Tesla Motors supercharging stations will end it's unlimited free charging aspect starting January 2017, and customers can start earning charging station points. Cars purchased on January 1, 2017 can still have free charging fee amounts, and Tesla Motors will release charging fees thereafter later this year. The fees would cost less than filling up a regular car gas tank, and fess will change within regional electricity costing amounts.

The groundbreaking for bicycles and pedestrians pathway within southern San Francisco Bay Area is completed, for construction to begin sometime later this month in November 2016. This improvement pathway project is pending completion sometime during Summer 2017, and providing Caltrain passengers and bicycles a pathway to Santa Clara Caltrain station. The accessible project will cost $14 million giving pedestrians and bicycles safety measures, from Brokaw Road towards the Caltrain railway tracks in Santa Clara.

Some public transportation agencies in San Francisco Bay Area provides contracting services within other private agencies. The Santa Clara County VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) services agreement with contractor Outreach and Escort Inc. in San Jose, California is questionable. The FBI (Federal Bureau Investigations) raided the agency database yesterday during the investigation. The VTA administration operated it's emergency plan paratransit services for disabled individuals within the regional service areas.

The latest study by Joint Venture Silicon Valley shows increasing traffic problems for commuters on highways and roadways in the heart of Silicon Valley region. The study reports during a press conference indicates traffic problems in San Francisco Bay Area is getting more worse than Los Angeles in southern California. The workforce in Silicon Valley commutes everyday to work from other regional counties within the State of California - more than 5% increase. Some people are saying because of the high cost of living in San Francisco Bay Area, people have to move within affordable areas.

The JetBlue Airlines have created an investment partnership with JetSuite small jet airlines transporting passengers from San Jose International Airport. The JetSuite signature flights will take passengers to west coast airports as a charter service including free checked bags and refreshments. The partnership new flying services approach is hopefully creating a profitable short-haul aviation services for passengers. Although JetBlue is a traditional commercial airline carrier for passengers, the new partnership agreement is not a code-sharing agreement.

The upcoming election on November 8, 2016 have various initiatives including transportation local measures, and Measure RR is on the ballot for approval by voters in San Francisco Bay Area. The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) administration is hoping voters will approve this measure for local BART improvement projects. BART is sharing many promotional elements regarding Measure RR to help the campaign so it can be approved by voters. Part of the campaign includes an advertisement showing on local television a star player of Golden State Warriors sending a campaign message.

Many San Francisco Bay Area transportation systems are in the process of improving transit services for passengers especially working class people. Part of BART's (Bay Area Rapid Transit) progressive improvement is installing environmental solar panels for new BART stations in Antioch and Lafayette, California. The BART Board of Directors approved an agreement with Solar City, a local Bay Area company to install solar panels at new BART stations. BART will purchase generated electricity from solar panels when fully operating thereafter installation is completed.

The muni bus transportation system is essentially important for disadvantaged communities in San Francisco including Visitacion Valley and Portola neighborhoods. The muni buses serving these communities can be full and unsafe for passengers, and SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) approved a project for improvement services. The improvement project includes adding elements for faster services, and safe for passengers along San Bruno Avenue approaching Silliman Avenue.

The plans to add toll lanes on Highway-101 within San Mateo County, California has been authorized and Caltrans will have an implementation process. Hopefully this plan will ease traffic congestion along Highway-101 within the Peninsula regional area. Toll lanes will be along the highway from Oregon Expressway in Palo Alto to Whipple Avenue in Redwood City, and new express lane will be free for carpooling vehicles. Caltrans will also plan to have carpool lanes along each direction of Highway-101 from Whipple Avenue to the highway interchange onto I-380 highway in South San Francisco.
