The Tesla company is rolling out a new feature for electric cars automated driving system to electronically recognize stop signs and traffic signals when necessary. The Tesla data reports therein electric cars new feature can be used with Traffic Aware Cruise Control and/or Autosteer Systems. Because the new cruise control feature can recognize stop signs and stop traffic lights, and slows the electric car with the driver's awareness. The Tesla drivers must also be aware of therein recognition signal and take immediate appropriate action as necessary.

The SFO (San Francisco International Airport) announced therein opening of Harvey Milk Terminal 1 and adjusting some airline carriers for air travelers. The SFO Airport is still open for essential air travelers and highly requesting passengers to uphold local, state, and federal public health advisory. Including face coverings and social distancing as required to stop the spread of COVID-19 virus. The SFO Airport administration requires all airport visitors and/or traveling passengers to ware face coverings for therein virus prevention.

The SamTrans transit agency is adjusting services in West Bay to accommodate passengers as necessary because of COVID-19 health pandemic in San Francisco Bay Area. Including modified schedules for 31 routing lines to preserve essential services regarding low ridership levels created by COVID-19 health crisis. The flexible (FLX Pacifica) services route will be in place effective Monday, May 4, 2020 to serve Linda Mar communities in Pacifica. The SamTrans OnDemand operations will no longer provide services for passengers effective Friday, May 1, 2020 and replaced by FLX Pacifica services.

The AC (Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District) agency is making necessary adjustments for services aligned with therein COVID-19 pandemic in East Bay. The AC transit agency has temporarily discontinued some bus stops, and permanently discontinued other bus stops. Including the closure of other local service bus lines within the transit transporting system. The ACT (AC Transit) real time system will be under maintenance upgrades on Monday, April 27, 2020 between 1 AM and 3 AM.

The VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) transit agency customer services hours of operation will become normal on Monday, April 27, 2020 in South Bay. The VTA Call Center operational hours for customer services will be 6 AM to 7 PM on Monday to Friday during weekdays, and 7:30 AM to 4 PM on Saturdays. The Caltrans local Highway 101 project is going well considering low traffic during therein COVID-19 health crisis pandemic in San Francisco Bay Area. The low vehicular traffic opportunity provides Caltrans repair crew good times to remove and rebuilt therein highway bridge deck in San Francisco over Alemany Circle. The highway construction project is creating local traffic problems and not as bad during regular traffic hours without major delays - traffic is moving slowly without problems.

The GGBHTD (Golden Gate Bridge Highway & Transportation District) agency is currently operating with bus and ferry adjustment services in North Bay. The transit agency services have been adjusted again based on current ridership levels, and reducing some local services and suspension of weekend ferry services. Including suspension ferry services for the Chase Center and Oracle Park in San Francisco for all local sporting events. The transporting passengers will become limited to maintain COVID-19 social distancing on transit buses and ferry vessels.

The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) agency is temporarily closing some escalators for surveying and/or repairs effective Monday, May 11, 2020 to Monday, June 8, 2020. There will be only one escalator closed during each time and repair crews will have signs and/or barricade barriers for protection. The BART improvement project is part of replacing old and/or upgrading escalators within the systems in San Francisco. The repair crew survey measurements will provide necessary elements for new and improved escalators for the transit system.

The SamTrans transit agency cancels their annual artwork contest because of therein COVID-19 health crisis and art will not take a bus ride this year in West Bay. The SamTrans artwork contest every year is co-sponsored by San Mateo County Office of Education with an opportunity for artistic students. The transit agency contestants this year has been very low because of therein COVID-19 health pandemic and decided to cancel this year. The annual arts contest has been very popular with many contestants every year considering an opportunity for artistic students.

The GGBHTD (Golden Gate Bridge Highway & Transportation District) agency partners with an environmental artistic couple to commemorate Earth Day. The artistic couple, George and Donnalei Sumner artistically displayed a mural artwork of a whale on the Golden Gate Transit bus. The Golden Gate Transit bus artistic display is to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day in San Francisco Bay Area. The bus will be traveling in North Bay to share the message of environmental protection within the Bay Area.
