The SJC (San Jose International Airport) commercial airport in South Bay is launching their new online parking reservation system. The SJC Airport new online parking reservations process will help customers save 15% when booking ahead of time, and reservations are available for Economy Lot 1 and expanding next year. The customers can park for long-term parking and planning ahead of the holiday season, and critically important for passengers to arrive at the airport for checking in on time.

The BATA (Bay Area Toll Authority) agency in San Francisco Bay Area is reducing penalty fees for toll violations with toll bridge crossings. The BATA administration is reducing therein first violation notice fees from $25 to $5, and second violation notice fees from $70 to $15 for drivers crossing Bay Area bridges. The driving customers who paid their violations during the beginning of this year will get refunds, and thereby refunding process will begin during February 2022.

The SCT (Sonoma County Transit) services agency in North Bay is revising their schedules effective Sunday, December 12, 2021 in The Bay Area. The schedules revision is happening to accommodate more passengers when business communities are opening, and including more trips on some transit routes for daily services. The transit agency Routes 44 and 48 has been revised as well as additional trips during weekday services, and one additional trip for Route 30 operations with daily schedules.

The SamTrans (San Mateo County Transit District) service agency in West Bay is launching their free rides program for low-income students. The SamTrans transit agency is partnering with San Mateo County Office of Education to offer therein free rides for eligible low-income students countywide. The partnership pilot program will be for six months until June 2022, and a decision will be made to continue and/or discontinue thereby program.

The AC Transit (Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District) services agency in East Bay is launching their Free Holly Jolly Bus Ride for passengers. The AC Transit annual holiday bus ride this year is wrapped with a snow landscape around the whole transit bus, and passengers can ride for free until Friday, December 31, 2021. The legendary annual holiday bus ride for passengers started since 1963 and keeps on bringing some joyful cheers for commuters!

The Santa Cruz METRO (Santa Cruz Metropolitan Transit District) services agency in South Bay is having their first "Stuff The Bus" with toys in the Bay Area. The Santa Cruz METRO is partnering with Toys For Tots during this holiday season to stuff therein transit bus with toys for children in South Bay. The partnership agencies collaborative effort is to collect toys for age groups 0-2 years and 11-14 years of age children, and toys have to be new and unwrapped including bikes, books, board games, etc.

The holiday season is herein San Francisco Bay Area and greeting travelers going westbound at the Bay Bridge in Yerba Buena Island tunnel. The holidays greeting wreath is a partnership contribution by BATA (Bay Area Toll Authority) and Caltrans (California Department of Transportation) for 10 years. The holidays wreath installation is done by Ghilotti Construction company thereafter a contractors agreement with therein BATA and Caltrans partnership.

The SolTrans (Solano County Transit) services agency in North Bay is postponing their annual service changes between 12/5/21 and 12/19/21 in the Bay Area. The transit agency staffing is impacted by personnel shortage and needs more time to adjust, and having less impact with local transit services. The Magazine Street bridge is now opened and Route 3 transit services to Magazine and Gary Circle will reopen, as well as services on Magazine and Fulton Avenue. The SolTrans agency Route 8 transit services on Glen Cove will continue with minor delays because of local roadway construction.

The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) transit services agency in West Bay is watching their Bike Network blooms in the Bay Area. The SFMTA biking network is making San Francisco to become the most bike friendly city nationwide, and safety alignment consistent with their mission for protection. Including safer bicycle routes within The City and having more people ride their bikes to work and/or fun and recreational activities.

The Tri Delta Transit agency serving East Bay neighborhoods within Contra Costa County is offering bids for contracting companies. The transit services agency is under ECCTA (Eastern Contra Costa Transit Authority) and will have a pre-bidding conference on Thursday, December 9, 2021. Including a tour of therein Facility Shop Equipment Maintenance project for the bidding process at 10 AM, and accepting bids for a five year contract for qualified companies.
