The transit agency is welcoming back passengers with hopes to increase more commuters during the month of September with free rides. The County Connection free rides for passengers also includes paratransit service routes within Central Contra Costa County jurisdiction.

The Santa Cruz METRO (Santa Cruz Metropolitan Transit District) services agency in South Bay is launching a new transit route to Watsonville. The Santa Cruz METRO transit agency will host a ribbon cutting event at 11 AM on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Watsonville Transit Center and inviting the public to attend. The new routing transit services will provide 16 daily roundtrips during the week, and therein services will be on a looping circulating format from Watsonville Transit Center.

The NFL (National Football League) 49ers American football season is kicking off in the Bay Area at Levi's Stadium and local transit agencies are helping with partnership services. The 49ers NFL American football team fans can ride with BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit), VTA (Valley Transportation Authority), and Caltrain to watch home games at Levi's Stadium. The BART, VTA, and Caltrain partnership transit services can be helpful with Bay Area football fans for different NFL teams.

The SCT (Sonoma County Transit) services agency in North Bay is offering free shuttle services for therein Green Concert Series. The SCT agency is providing thereby free transit services for passengers attending the annual Summer Nights on the Green Concert Series at Windsor Town Green. The passengers can take therein free transit services on Route 66 Express to the Windsor Town Green on Thursday evenings for the concert.

The SamTrans (San Mateo County Transit District) services agency in West Bay restores school transit routes for students in the Bay Area. The SamTrans agency is also increasing transit services in high demanding areas countywide, and restoring local school routes includes community colleges as well. Including updates with school routing schedules to make it better for all commuting students attending local schools and community colleges countywide.

The AC Transit (Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District) services agency in East Bay is partnering with ferry services in the Bay Area. The AC Transit agency is partnering with WETA (Water Emergency Transportation Authority) ferry services for commuting passengers in San Francisco Bay Area. The AC Transit agency is operating Line 78 to transport passengers taking ferry services across the bay, and picking up passengers from Alameda Seaplane Ferry Terminal for a pilot project.

The VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) transit services agency in South Bay is progressively moving forward with their plan to reopen railway services. The VTA light railway services will hopefully reopens during the end of this week, and thereafter testing, track and system inspections to be part of Phase 3 services Restoration Plan. The BART transit services plan outlines new schedules with more trains for commuting passengers, and operating nearly regular service levels before the pandemic. The transit services showing more passengers are taking BART trains to avoid local vehicular traffic congestion, and supporting regional transit services for work and/or school transportation.

The SolTrans (Solano County Transit) service agency in North Bay is welcoming back transit services for Solano Community College students. The SolTrans transit services for students will be available for all campus locations countywide, and it's free services for all students and they must have valid Student ID cards. The students have to show their Student ID cards to the bus driving operators and secure their free transit ride for the day.
