The VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) development project in South Bay received $29 million for affordable housing near a transit location. The VTA received therein state funding from the California Strategic Growth Council program to help with thereby Tamien Station development project. The VTA transit agency is contracting UrbanCO construction company to receive $18 million for therein Tamien Station development project. The VTA development project will have affordable housing units with marketable rates and commercial retail spaces available.

The MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) agency data is showing transit ridership is rising in San Francisco Bay Area. The MTC data shows elevation ridership numbers with BART at 240%, Muni at 120%, and AC Transit at 240% and other transit agencies are maintaining continuation increase in the Bay Area. The MTC identified data shows ridership relationships between 12/25/21 and 2/2/2022 with passengers paying traveling fees with Clipper Cards. The pandemic is starting to disappear from our local communities, and transit ridership is starting to elevate with higher numbers.

The Marin Transit services agency in North Bay is adjusting some routing services effective Sunday, March 13, 2022. The transit services agency Route 71 weekend schedule will change stop times to help passengers with commuting pattern needs. The Marin Transit added weekday evening services for therein Route 63 effective immediately from Kerner and Larkspur to San Rafael Transit Center. Including transit detouring services for passengers using Route 645 at Terra Linda High School, and temporarily use a stop at Nova Albion Way and Esmeyer Drive.

The SCT transit agency wireless services using 3G will be cancelled at the end of February 2022, and will change to offline services until it's upgraded to 4G/5G wireless operational system. The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) transit services agency in West Bay announced the arrival of their electric buses. The SFMTA currently have five electric buses to have their all electric fleet by 2040 aligned with their Sustainability and Climate Action Program. The transit agency will deliver seven more electric buses by the end of 2022, and working closely with PG&E to have charging stations prepared and ready for action.
