The SCCRTC (Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission) planning agency in South Bay is repairing bridge rails and Highway 1 will be closed. The SCCRTC agency is working closely with Caltrans (California Department of Transportation) and closing Highway 1 on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 for therein rail bridge repairs project. The Highway 1 overnight closures will be from Rio Del Mar Boulevard to State Park Drive, and highway closure times between 10 PM to 4 AM for awareness.

The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) services agency in San Francisco Bay Area is inviting local small businesses to a contracting workshop. The BART agency will have a virtual online workshop for small business communities on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 4 PM to 5 PM. The transit agency Small Business Support Services workshop will share information about contracting opportunities for local small business. The BART agency workshop will include Onsite Work Plans Overview information about how to bid for contracts, as well as subcontracting with requirements in the procedural process.

The SCT (Sonoma County Transit) services agency in North Bay is providing routes with detouring services in San Francisco Bay Area. The SCT agency is implementing therein detours for some routes serving Rohnert Park because of a local improvement project in North Bay. The AC Transit (Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District) services agency in East Bay is releasing their second volume for greenhouse gas emissions study. The AC Transit agency released their first volume for ZETBTA (Zero Emission Transit Bus Technology Analysis) study in July 2021, and released the second volume for therein study during December 2021. The AC Transit study for ZETBTA database is aligned with their Roadmap To 2040 goals, and having a guide towards transit services with zero emissions and technology in the future.

The VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) services agency is collaborating with local agencies regarding an improvement project in South Bay. The VTA transit agency is collaborating with therein City of San Jose and Caltrans (California Department of Transportation) for the Highway 101/Blossom Hill Road development project. The project interchange will provide more safety elements for pedestrians and bicyclists in South Bay, and the intersection includes traffic lights and no right-turn traffic signs.

The Caltrans (California Department of Transportation) agency announced their new policy to consider Complete Streets during projects development. The Caltrans projects affiliated with transportation in San Francisco Bay Area as well as statewide developments will consider Complete Streets. The new policy requirement effort is to provide optional ways and means of support for people walking, biking, and using transit services. It's aligned with climate change in local communities, and public health matters with equity goals to build healthy communities statewide.

The STS (Sonoma County Airport) commercial airport in North Bay is offering nonstop flights to international airports in the western regional states. The STS Airport is providing nonstop flight services in the Bay Area with Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, United Airlines, and Avelo Airlines carrier. The STS Airport is partnering with The Good Traveler program to reduce and/or offset traveling carbon emissions in the Bay Area, and protecting our environment by air traveling passengers.

The SFO (San Francisco International Airport) commercial airport in West Bay is celebrating their nonstop flights with Vietnam Airlines service between America and Vietnam. The SFO Airport has become the first to operate such nonstop flights and offering two Vietnam Airlines service flights during each week. The departing airlines nonstop flights from SFO Airport to Vietnam marks a new milestone in commercial aviation flights. The SFO Airport partnership nonstop flights service was made possible when SFO Director, Ivar Satero had meetings with Vietnam aviation officials.
