The BATA agency will be recognized with an award by CTF (California Transportation Foundation) during therein 32nd Annual Transportation Awards virtual event. The SamTrans transit agency has dedicated herein month of May 2021 as the Older Americans Month - honoring the present and past contribution of senior citizens. The transit agency is enabling services for seniors countywide, and accessibility elements to make it easier with transportation activities.

The LAVTA (Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority) services in East Bay reopens their autonomous vehicle to transport passengers. The LAVTA transit agency is operating therein SAV (Shared Autonomous Vehicle) project, to improve mobility for passengers last-mile solution during commuting in the Bay Area. The transit agency SAV Project is a collaborative effort with local agencies to make it happen, and approved by NHSTA (National Highway Safety Traffic Administration) for operation.

The VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) services agency in South Bay is reopening Hamilton Railway Station in San Francisco Bay Area. The VTA transit agency's repair crew completed an improvement project at therein railway station and now reopens for commuting services. Including completion of the station retaining wall and repair crew staffing were able to settle the large amount of dirt for construction. The construction crew was able to realign the retaining wall panels and realignment of the railway tracks for thereby improvement project.

The Caltrans (California Department of Transportation) state services agency honors 189 fallen highway workers during therein 31st Annual Memorial Ceremony. The Caltrans commemoration annual event was held at the California State Capitol to remember thereby fallen highway workers. The memorial event included 189 orange highway traffic cones in a diamond configuration style like a "caution sign" on state highways. Including names of 189 fallen highway workers on the orange traffic cones as well as the Caltrans Honor Guard during therein memorial event.

The SMART (Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit) train services in North Bay is showing increase with more passengers in the Bay Area. The SMART train reports showing more passengers traveling in North Bay using train services, and showing 11,773 ridership commuters during April 2021. The SMART train services maintenance workers upgraded Selective Catalytic Reduction brackets on diesel vehicles, and replaced with new brackets and reinstalled the engine diesel power module.
