The Alameda CTC (County Transportation Commission) services agency in East Bay is hosting the 2021 IWR2SD event for students exploring different ways to school. The Alameda CTC 2021 IWR2SD (International Walk and Roll To School Day) event is part of SR2S (Safe Routes To School) Program. The event is open to all students in Alameda County and giving students an opportunity, to explore different methods of transportation on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 in San Francisco Bay Area.

The VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) transit agency updated their services in South Bay to make it better for commuting passengers. The VTA new rapid transit services will start on Monday, October 11, 2021 for Rapid 568 routing services with frequency improvements between Gilroy and Diridon Station. The VTA new rapid routing services will operate between 5:30 AM and 7:30 PM during weekday services, and replacing transit services for Express 168 in South Bay.

The MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) services agency in San Francisco Bay Area has released the Bay Area Transit Transformation Action Plan. Including 27 specified action items to reshape regional transit services in the Bay Area thereafter approval by the Blue Ribbon Transit Recovery Task Force. As well as Goals and Objectives for therein Transit Transformation Action Plan to make it happen with more improvement and efficient services.

The GGBHTD (Golden Gate Bridge Highway & Transportation District) services agency in North Bay is operating with new schedules for transit services. The GGBHTD transit agency continues to have suspension for some routing services in North Bay and new schedules for operational routes. Including new ferry services from Larkspur to San Francisco during weekday morning commuting hours and departing from San Francisco Ferry Terminal using Gate B.

The WestCAT (Cooperating Area Transit Systems) services agency in East Bay is operating with new transit service schedules effective this month in September 2021. Including free rides for commuting passengers throughout the whole month of September, and aligned free services for commuting passengers are consistent with other transit agencies in East Bay. The transit agency updated schedules with new time changes for some transit routing schedules are in place, and without changes for weekend services.

The WETA (Water Emergency Transportation Authority) services agency in West Bay announced a partnership celebration to relaunch ferry services in The Bay Area. The WETA agency is partnering with three local breweries to celebrate ferry services, and ferry customers can get discounts on their beer when riding ferry vessels. The WETA ferry services commuting passengers cannot purchase beers onboard and they can purchase at San Francisco Bay Ferry terminal during departures.

The ACE (Altamont Corridor Express) train services in South Bay has been updated by adding ACE 07 and ACE 10 to therein new transit service schedules. The ACE train services with SJRRC (San Joaquin Regional Rail Commission) announced therein new additional services to help commuting passengers when things are opening in the Bay Area. The ACE 07 and ACE 10 train services were suspended because of the pandemic, and reintroducing therein services with scheduling adjustment can help passengers.

The San Francisco Bay Area bridge tolls payments have been simplified by two transportation administrative agencies to make it easy for drivers. The MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) and BATA (Bay Area Toll Authority) agencies are encouraging drivers and business communities to use FasTrak tolls payment system. The MTC and BATA agencies are making things easier to pay for Bay Area bridge tolls within nine regional counties.

The Marin Transit services agency in North Bay is launching their promotional free fares for passengers during October 2021 in The Bay Area. The Marin Transit agency is launching therein free services with pilot programs for all local fixed transit routes for seniors 65+ years of age and/or disability seniors. It will be a six month program and paratransit services will be exempt as well as other demanding responsive services, and low-income students can become eligible for free transit services starting November 2021.

The Caltrain services agency in West Bay is having a ribbon-cutting event on Friday, September 17, 2021 at the new Hillsdale Station. The Caltrain event is to celebrate therein successful completion of 25th Avenue Grade Separation Project in San Mateo, and separating train tracks from the East 25th Avenue to prevent local traffic congestion. Including safety elements to protect pedestrians and bicyclists as well as vehicles using local roadways for accessibility.
