The Santa Cruz METRO (Santa Cruz Metropolitan Transit District) services agency in South Bay is having their first "Stuff The Bus" with toys in the Bay Area. The Santa Cruz METRO is partnering with Toys For Tots during this holiday season to stuff therein transit bus with toys for children in South Bay. The partnership agencies collaborative effort is to collect toys for age groups 0-2 years and 11-14 years of age children, and toys have to be new and unwrapped including bikes, books, board games, etc.

The holiday season is herein San Francisco Bay Area and greeting travelers going westbound at the Bay Bridge in Yerba Buena Island tunnel. The holidays greeting wreath is a partnership contribution by BATA (Bay Area Toll Authority) and Caltrans (California Department of Transportation) for 10 years. The holidays wreath installation is done by Ghilotti Construction company thereafter a contractors agreement with therein BATA and Caltrans partnership.

The SolTrans (Solano County Transit) services agency in North Bay is postponing their annual service changes between 12/5/21 and 12/19/21 in the Bay Area. The transit agency staffing is impacted by personnel shortage and needs more time to adjust, and having less impact with local transit services. The Magazine Street bridge is now opened and Route 3 transit services to Magazine and Gary Circle will reopen, as well as services on Magazine and Fulton Avenue. The SolTrans agency Route 8 transit services on Glen Cove will continue with minor delays because of local roadway construction.

The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) transit services agency in West Bay is watching their Bike Network blooms in the Bay Area. The SFMTA biking network is making San Francisco to become the most bike friendly city nationwide, and safety alignment consistent with their mission for protection. Including safer bicycle routes within The City and having more people ride their bikes to work and/or fun and recreational activities.

The Tri Delta Transit agency serving East Bay neighborhoods within Contra Costa County is offering bids for contracting companies. The transit services agency is under ECCTA (Eastern Contra Costa Transit Authority) and will have a pre-bidding conference on Thursday, December 9, 2021. Including a tour of therein Facility Shop Equipment Maintenance project for the bidding process at 10 AM, and accepting bids for a five year contract for qualified companies.

The VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) transit agency is launching their annual toy drive for the holidays on Saturday, December 4, 2021 in South Bay. The VTA transit agency is partnering with U.S. Marine Corps. to stuff a bus with toys for children in Santa Clara County. The annual partnership toy drive is for Toys for Tots program and therein VTA bus will be parked in downtown San Jose on Market Street. The VTA toy drive bus will be open between 9 AM and 5 PM for new toy donations, and pictures can be taken with San Jose Sharks hockey team mascot Sharkie.

The Caltrans (California Department of Transportation) agency is taking actions to support therein movement to transport goods from ports to distribution centers statewide. It's through an Executive Order by Governor Gavin Newsom to increase thereby truck weight limits temporarily, and allowing trucks to deliver goods in the Bay Area and statewide. Including seasonal goods for distribution during Thanksgiving and the Holiday Season this year, and delivery trucks will transport from statewide ports to commercial centers.

The Marin Transit services agency in North Bay is offering promotional fare programs for senior passengers until March 31, 2022. Including people with disabilities and offering Free Summer Passes for students during the summer of 2022, and Paratransit, Catch-A-Ride, Dial-A-Ride, Connect, and Muir Woods Shuttles are exempt. These free promotional fees for passengers are limited to Marin Transit local fixed-route services only countywide. The senior passengers must show valid Medicare Card, DMV ID card/license, and eligibility from another Bay Area transit agency.

The Caltrain services agency in West Bay is returning therein Holiday Train annual toy drive in San Francisco Bay Area. The annual Holiday Train toy drive will happen on Saturday, December 4, 2021 and Sunday, December 5, 2021 with Santa and Mrs. Claus onboard the train. There will be free holiday entertainment at each Holiday Train stop station and encouraging passengers to donate toys for children - donated more than 50,000 toys since the beginning. The Caltrain is partnering with U.S. Marine Corps and The Salvation Army to help families and children have a joyful holiday season!

The CCTA (Contra Costa Transportation Authority) services agency in East Bay serves Contra Costa County in partnership regarding a female engineering program. The CCTA partners with Stantec, and Ygnacio Valley High School to launch The Femineer Program and encouraging female students to enroll for future engineering careers. The Femineer Program is part of therein Cal Poly Pomona College of Engineering curriculum, and hopefully to inspire female students to become future engineers.
