The VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) transit agency in South Bay is partnering with Green Education Foundation to save our local environment. The environmental partnership is providing new NDRS (Neighborhood Donation Recycling Stations) to save our Bay Area environment. The VTA passengers and local communities can visit a local NDRS location with recycle materials and/or items to reduce waste and saving our environment. The VTA transit agency have placed therein donation stations at VTA locations for passengers to visualize and dropoff recycling items.

The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) services agency in San Francisco Bay Area is reopening to full service until midnight every day. The BART weekend services are making a big difference with more trains available, and with more direct services to SFO International Airport. The transit agency is cleaning more trains consistently and installed air filters with new ventilation systems to protect commuting passengers.

The Marin Transit services agency in North Bay is offering free summer rides for students and youth during 2022 summertime break. The countywide free transit services applies to students and/or youth 18 years of age and under, and they have to show identification when requested by driving operators. The Marin Transit services promotion will last until Sunday, August 14, 2022 and only applies to local transit bus services countywide.

The WETA (Water Emergency Transportation Authority) ferry services agency in West Bay is changing ticket purchasing and validation process. The WETA agency will begin therein procedural changes on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 for passengers to purchase their tickets using the new app system. The WETA commuting passengers can purchase ferry tickets for regular services and special events in the Bay Area. The new system will make it better and easier for commuting passengers, and passengers using Clipper Cards can tag on and/or off easier.

The LAVTA (Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority) services agency in East Bay has been operating their express services. The LAVTA transit agency express services for Route 20X and Route 70X are back in operation to help commuting passengers in East Bay. The business communities in San Francisco Bay Area are opening and offering amenities to get people back on track. The transit agency is also offering hiring bonus for new drivers/operators and hopefully will get to hire more on staff.

The Santa Cruz METRO (Santa Cruz Metropolitan Transit District) services agency in South Bay is sharing new incentives to recruit transit driving operators. The Santa Cruz METRO transit agency like other transit agencies in the Bay Area is hiring, and offering incentives to hire new transit drivers/operators in South Bay. The transit agency's recruiting effort will end on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 with therein new incentives approach.

The Caltrans (California Department of Transportation) agency commission allocated more than $3 billion for transportation projects statewide and the Bay Area. The CTC (California Transportation Commission) has allocated therein funding to help with roadways repair and/or improvement projects. The Caltrans statewide funding allocation includes $1.3 billion from federal funding, and helping local roadway and/or bridge projects. The California 2017 SB1 (Senate Bill 1) Legislation aligned with Road Repair and Accountability Act accounts for $930 million for therein funding allocation.

The SolTrans (Solano County Transit) service agency in North Bay is accepting Blue Line Express services starting Monday, August 8, 2022. The SolTrans agency has accepted SolanoExpress Lines Green, Red, and Yellow for express services in the Bay Area, and will add therein Blue Line for more express services. The STA (Solano Transportation Authority) and SolTrans agreed to consolidate thereby express services, and operated by one agency to make it easier for management countywide.

The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) transit agency in West Bay is adding more services to accommodate transporting passengers. The SFMTA transit services will have more equity and responsive transporting routes for passengers especially going up the hill transit routes. The transit services additional routes will become part of thereby 2022 Muni Service Network Plan and based on community feedback. The SFMTA new transit services will take effect on Saturday, July 9, 2022, and will publish thereby additional routes for passengers.

The AC Transit (Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District) services agency in East Bay releases their zero emissions Volume 3 Report. The AC Transit agency partners with Stanford University Precourt Institute of Energy and releases thereby ZETBTA (Zero Emissions Transit Bus Technology Analysis) Volume 3 Report. The identified AC Transit partnership report shares analyses information with their ZETBTA project, and overview of transit bus technologies within the transit agency operation.
