The STS (Sonoma County Airport) commercial airport in North Bay is launching their nonstop flights by Avelo Airlines starting Friday, November 11, 2022. The STS Airport is working closely with all airlines to make air traveling better for passengers. The Avelo Airlines will start thereby nonstop flight services twice during weekly hours on Fridays and Mondays. The nonstop flight services for air travelers to Palm Springs, California by Avelo Airlines will be the only one from STS Airport.

The Spirit Airlines nonstop flights to and/or from OAK Airport, will use their A320 NEO aircraft going Eastbound/Westbound for air traveling passengers. It's the eighth nonstop flights for Spirit Airlines to and/or from OAK Airport, and making it easier for passengers to arrive/depart from the East Bay airport.

The SJC (San Jose International Airport) commercial airport in South Bay is resuming nonstop flights for American Airlines in October 2022. The SJC Airport is in the heart of Silicon Valley and will have nonstop flights for American Airlines directly to CLT Airport in Charlotte, North Carolina. The SJC Airport nonstop flights for American Airlines will use their Airbus A321 aircraft, to transport passengers directly to Charlotte, North Carolina. The air travelers in Silicon Valley will be happy to have therein nonstop flights, and will find it very useful for local business traveling.

The WETA is launching their San Francisco Bay Ferry App to help passengers get real-time ferry schedules. The Alameda CTC (County Transportation Commission) services agency in East Bay has been recognized again for excellence in financial reporting. The Alameda CTC agency has been recognized for nine consecutive years by GFOA (Government Finance Officers Association). The agency is recognized for it's financial reporting performance is aligned with their Annual Comprehensive Financial Report. The recognition award by GFOA is the highest mark for financial reporting with excellence in governmental accounting.
