The SamTrans annual report shows revenues and expenditures for fiscal year ending on June 30, 2020 regarding Measure W funding. The Measure W initiative funding was approved by countywide voters during 2018 elections, and providing therein funding support for transportation improvement services. The transit agency audit report was reviewed and approved by COC (Citizens Oversight Committee) as part of the procedural process.

The OAK (Oakland International Airport) commercial airport in East Bay is showing an increase with air traveling passengers in San Francisco Bay Area. The OAK Airport passengers traffic on airplane flights have reached 76.9% of therein pre-pandemic traveling levels, and air cargo is showing 2.3% increase for transporting activities. The airport increasing flights for air traveling passengers shows a combination of arrivals and/or departing flights in East Bay during November 2021.

The VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) transit services agency in South Bay is partnering with therein City of San Jose for a downtown improvement project. The VTA agency is working closely with SJDOT (San Jose Department of Transportation) regarding therein Downtown Transportation Plan. The Caltrans (California Department of Transportation) services agency is expanding therein Adopt-A-Highway program to clean Bay Area highways and/or roadways statewide. It's a Clean California statewide program offering up to $250 each month, and Caltrans announced therein expansion to 2023/24 fiscal year. Because the pilot program data is showing success in Sacramento and San Diego regional areas, and proposing $100 million to offer local community grants for therein cleaning program.

The SolTrans (Solano County Transit) service agency in North Bay continues to promote their 2 for 1 Solano Express routes in San Francisco Bay Area. The SolTrans agency is offering therein express services for passengers working and/or living in Solano County, and making them eligible for thereby 2 for 1 promotional transit passes. The passengers can get free Monthly and/or Daily Passes for all Solano Express service bus lines. The SolTrans agency is continually promoting therein transit services to welcome back riders and/or welcoming new transit riders.

The Caltrain new South San Francisco Station in West Bay is completed with improvements to make it easier and convenient for commuting passengers. The Caltrain new station includes more safety elements in place to protect passengers as well as pedestrians, and the underpass leading to thereby eastside can protect pedestrians more safely. The new Caltrain underpass is now open for pedestrians to use and therein new South San Francisco Station looks great with new improvement items.

The Alameda CTC (County Transportation Commission) services agency in East Bay recently completed a virtual Open House for an improvement project. The SCCRTC (Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission) planning agency in South Bay is repairing bridge rails and Highway 1 will be closed. The SCCRTC agency is working closely with Caltrans (California Department of Transportation) and closing Highway 1 on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 for therein rail bridge repairs project. The Highway 1 overnight closures will be from Rio Del Mar Boulevard to State Park Drive, and highway closure times between 10 PM to 4 AM for awareness.

The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) services agency in San Francisco Bay Area is inviting local small businesses to a contracting workshop. The BART agency will have a virtual online workshop for small business communities on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 4 PM to 5 PM. The transit agency Small Business Support Services workshop will share information about contracting opportunities for local small business. The BART agency workshop will include Onsite Work Plans Overview information about how to bid for contracts, as well as subcontracting with requirements in the procedural process.

The SCT (Sonoma County Transit) services agency in North Bay is providing routes with detouring services in San Francisco Bay Area. The SCT agency is implementing therein detours for some routes serving Rohnert Park because of a local improvement project in North Bay. The transit agency Routes 10, 44, and 48 are detoured onto Arlen Drive and Adrian Drive, and northern part of Southwest Blvd. because of therein project construction. The SCT Route 10 will not have transit services between Commerce Blvd., Arlen Drive, and Cotati Hub.
