The SamTrans (San Mateo County Transit District) services agency in West Bay is offering their 2022 Art Takes a Bus Ride contest. The SamTrans annual art contest is a collaboration effort with San Mateo County Office of Education, and San Mateo County Office of Arts and Culture. The County Connections agency operates under Central Contra Costa Transit Authority and provides transit services within Central Contra Costa County jurisdictions. The VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) services agency in South Bay held a celebration opening of Express Lanes in northern Santa Clara County. The VTA phase-in Express Lanes project stretches along Highway 101 to San Mateo County at Whipple Avenue, and Express Lanes are open for operation by drivers in both counties. The drivers using thereby Express Lanes will be required to have a working Fastrak account, and Express Lanes regulations will be enforced in the Bay Area.

The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) services agency in San Francisco Bay Area is launching new service schedules effective Monday, February 14, 2022. The BART agency is trying optional ways to improve transporting services for commuting passengers in the Bay Area, and making better connections with other regional transit agencies. The BART agency new schedules will make it happen and including improvement services for Sundays with extended service to midnight.

The SolTrans (Solano County Transit) services agency in North Bay will operate all express service lines in San Francisco Bay Area. The SolTrans agency is working closely with STA (Solano Transportation Authority) to transition all express service lines under one agency, and SolanoExpress Green Line will start transitioning on Monday, April 4, 2022. The new transitioning phase will bring in new staffing, new fleet vehicles, and new uniforms for driving operators of the Green Line in North Bay.

The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) transit services in West Bay is developing two capital improvement projects in downtown. The SFMTA two capital improvement projects are happening at 6th Street and Taylor Street to improve pedestrian safety needs. The improvement projects will reconfigure traffic lanes, changes with traffic signals and allowable vehicular turns, and parking with safety loading/unloading zones for commercial vehicles.

The AC Transit (Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District) services agency in East Bay celebrates Black History Month by items on their website. The SCCRTC (Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission) services agency in South Bay is launching a pilot project using goats. The SCCRTC new pilot project will use goats to control vegetation at therein SCBRL (Santa Cruz Branch Rail Line) property and three other locations countywide. The pilot project will determine if using goats to control vegetation can become part of the regular maintenance, and to clear vegetation growth affecting visibility for safety traveling.

The CTC (California Transportation Commission) state agency is investing $589 million in San Francisco Bay Area and statewide repair projects. The CTC identified state funding allocation includes investment funding in the Bay Area for Sonoma County, Marin County, and San Mateo County for improvement projects. The state investment funding will certainly help with transportation improvement projects and infrastructure updates in the Bay Area and statewide.

The SolTrans (Solano County Transit) services agency in North Bay have some detouring routes during bridge constructions with Caltrans. The SolTrans agency is rerouting some local routes to allow six bridge repair constructions by Caltrans (California Department of Transportation). Including some local roadways will be closed for therein bridge repairs by Caltrans, and bridge repairs will be hopefully completed by April 2022.
