Some local legislators are sharing their concerns with service gaps within times until new muni railway trains are in operation accordingly, and a completed official contract has been signed for a Sacramento manufacturing company for muni train developmental process.

The Golden Gate ferry captains that runs ferry services within San Francisco Bay Area are going on strike today, providing hardship for ferry commuters traveling across the San Francisco Bay on a daily basis for work and other activities. Somme commuters take ferry from Larkspur and Sausalito to San Francisco, and they started looking for alternative traveling plans this morning due to the strike.

A SamTrans public transportation bus was involved in an accident in San Mateo on El Camino Real, and some injury passengers were transported to hospitals and some with serious injuries. The SamTrans bus was involved with a head-on collision with a passenger van, and Christine Dunn, spokesperson for SamTrans reported a passenger riding in the van has been killed in the accident. Police officers are investigating the accident and closed the road for a full investigation, and a witness stated that the passenger van crossed over the road divider and hit SamTrans bus head-on.

The state funding for climate change statewide is under development of planning how to disburse funding, to allocated geographical areas in California based on the need within most polluted communities. The disbursement funding will help clean our natural environmental air and lowering fuel emissions protecting our environment, and most funding is earmarked for Southern California because of more polluted communities and not Northern California.

The deal information for Transbay Transit Center developers and San Francisco officials have been questionable for appropriated funding necessary, to complete the proposed transportation transit center in downtown San Francisco. The transit proposed agreement deal between all involved parties have collapsed and will delay the developmental project progress, and project funding may be denied due to tax appropriation assistance for the project is in jeopardy.

The State of California Governor Jerry Brown signed legislation to keep the state environmental air clean for families and children, and protecting clean air that we all breathe for healthy and safety environment for all people. This state legislation is aligned with plug-in electrical and hybrid vehicles, including low emission fueling vehicles, for the state to reach the goal of having 1.5 million zero-emission vehicles on the road by 2025.

The recent funding approved for new muni railway trains in San Francisco has been signed by Mayor Ed Lee, during a news conference to officiate the contract with Siemens Industry in Sacramento. The allocating funds will provide manufacturing company in Sacramento to direct new muni trains with upgrading designs and space for passenger services, including an interfacing tracking system for train wheels and railway tracks with measuring data collection information.

The San Francisco muni system is undergoing many different projects within the city, and all muni projects are catered for services improvement in San Francisco for commuters. The San Francisco MTA (Municipal Transportation Agency) Board approved $3.5 million to build railway tracks for muni railway system within Mission Bay. This project will provide muni railway system a turnaround phase for T-Third line at Mission Bay going southbound, and it will not affect services for Bayview Hunters Point geographical area.
