The shuttles pilot project was opened today for high-tech commuters in San Francisco, and differences continue between high-tech companies and San Francisco residents. City activists feel that high-tech companies are ruining their San Francisco and raising the cost of living, with high renting costs for housing and small business are moving out of the city. In fact, activists are looking at the legal system to provide them with assistance, due to environmental impact for people living and working in San Francisco.

After disrupted public muni transportation and delayed negotiations, San Francisco MTA finally approved the contract for muni operators union in a quickly approach. Muni operators union members also approved the tentative negotiated contract as part of the procedural process, with new wage and pension increases for the next three years, and will be retroactively in place effective July 1, 2014. "It was a hard agreement to reach and people started to understand it especially muni senior operators," said Ed Reiskin, SFMTA Director.

As identified in our previous posting how critical public transportation should be in San Francisco Bay Area, because of safety and healthy issues for people traveling within the bay area for business and/or personal endeavors. Including accountable services on a timely mannerism and dependable for working people to arrive at work on-time, and people to feel safe during their traveling hours and also ensuring their healthy situational issues are in place accordingly for protection.

One of the reason people depend on public transportation in San Francisco is because of economical living situations, including safe and environmentally healthy living conditions for city residents and working class people. People are also depending on public muni transit systems to be accountable and dependable, unfortunately, Tuesday evening railway transit system services was interrupted due to a car crash blocking the roadway in the Oak Parkside neighboring community.

The red-colored transit lanes along Market Street in San Francisco stands out without any problems for drivers and commuters, because the red-colored lanes are for public transit usage only and not for personal cars. This effort is for drivers to stay clear from these lanes because it creates traffic congestion along Market Street, and impacting other streets as well. Spoke with some commuters and they said hopefully this effort will prevent drivers from using these red-painted lanes, and giving us commuters on the trains/trolleys a chance to ride without fearing any safety issues.

The TNC (Transportation Network Company) cars in San Francisco Bay Area has launched a high-tech app for late night and early morning commuters within the bay area, and hopefully filling the gap for Caltrain commuters within those hours. The situational effort is spearheaded by two Stanford University seniors and friends who likes to commute up and down San Francisco Bay Area, during late night/early morning hours either at a party or working late night hours.

The current San Francisco bay bridge was completed and a celebration was in place for a successful bridge development and completion, and even named it by the former Mayor Willie Brown of San Francisco. Some people were saying that politics is always involved in governmental projects, and sometimes it generates complications and overshadows real concerning issues during the project's development.

Transportation is a necessity for San Francisco Bay Area families and children, as well as working class people commuting daily on bay area freeways and roadways to and from work considering health and safety conditional issues. That's partly why MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) has been working closely with Caltrans to provide people with ways and means of support for commuters, providing people with daily traffic reporting on the go and informing people of traffic congestive areas while on the road.

The Embarcadero in San Francisco is one of the foremost and unforgettable eyeviewing scenery for everyone in San Francisco, and city residents and visitors leave their hearts in San Francisco after taking a ride down The Embarcadero roadway anytime of the day. All local agencies i.e. Bay Area MTC, San Francisco MTA, and San Francisco DPW are working closely with Port of San Francisco administrators to make things happen for people, and it's a longer process that anticipated for better development with environmental protection.

The transportation in San Francisco is progressively moving forward to make it easier for people traveling in their personal cars, public transit muni transportation, bicycles, etc. including outlining colors for muni transit lanes. The muni transit trailway red-carpet lanes will be laid out in red paint along Market Street stretch between Fifth and Mason Streets this Saturday, and roadway along that stretch will closed to avoid any problems with the transit project.
