The transportation system in San Francisco Bay Area including freeways and roadways for traveling, has been on the list for improvement as a priority before they deteriorate endangering traveling passengers. The MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) released a report outlining 66 out of 100, as average PCI (Pavement Condition Index) score for bay area freeways and roadways. Three of major bay area cities like San Francisco, Oakland, and San Jose have scored an average fair range, and commission members are looking to improve the transportation system for all communities.

The sporting cars ownership for transportation within San Francisco Bay Area has been elevated in many ways aligned with sporting activities involvement within the bay area. Some of sporting car ownership starts with various types of Ferrari models, and Associated Press is sharing the separation of Ferrari cars from Fiat Chrysler model cars. The spinoff separation is part of a merging plan for capital support and net income increase within a future timeline.

The San Francisco Bay Area BART transportation system has been searching for improvement and wants to hear input from the public including BART commuters. Improvement needs for San Francisco BART stations at Embarcadero and Montgomery to make it easier for passengers especially for health and safety reasoning including overcrowding BART trains. The BART transportation is looking to secure public input as an outreach approach and will prioritize all matters necessary for improvement from the outreach study.

The San Francisco BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) parking fees will begin today at the Concord BART station and leading into parking fees for all BART stations within San Francisco Bay Area. BART parking fees will be validated daily between 4 AM and 3 PM Monday to Friday especially for working class people, and daily fees can be paid by cash, clipper cards, and BART tickets. Another option is to purchase a monthly pass and you can log into www.bart.gov/parking to BART's parking payment system.

The San Francisco MTA (Municipal Transportation Agency) Board of Directors approved a bulb-out project to help streamline muni services along some routing streets. The following streets will be impacted by this planning project along San Bruno, Market, 11th Street, Bayshore Boulevard, Potrero Avenue, Oakdale Avenue, Cortland Avenue, and Harrison. This project intention is to make it easier for passengers during loading and unloading from bus services, and easier for muni transit buses during daily routing activities to be on time picking up passengers.

The Golden Gate Bridge District board has been planning a toll fee for pedestrians and bicyclists who want to walk and/or ride a bike on the iconic bridge in San Francisco. A toll fee is being studied to help the district financial plan within five years, and the toll fee plan is moving forward after a district board meeting today. About 50 plus people attended the meeting and provided opposing comments for the toll fee plan, and despite opposition from some community people, the board unanimously approved to move forward with charging toll fees for pedestrians and bicyclists.

The United Airlines are launching its nonstop daily flights from SFO (San Francisco International Airport) to Tokyo International Airport on October 26, and providing nonstop flights throughout the Pacific Rim geographical area including connecting flights. Japan Airlines will have four-class Sky-Suite 777 flights starting December 1, and American Airlines along with other airline carriers are trying to join with more transpacific transportation flights.

The federal government is looking into monitoring all traveling people from West Africa, within Ebola stranded disease nations to try and avoid spreading the Ebola virus. This monitoring approach will start this coming Monday and all travelers from West Africa will report to the health officials, and they will be monitored for three weeks on a daily basis. Travelers have to check their temperatures two times a day during their arrival date and health officials will monitor their health diagnostic status.

The Antioch High School is promoting more bicycle riders through a Bay Area Mobile Cycling Festival today, and assistance from Assemblyman Jim Frazier's (D-Oakley) office staff. The high school Bike Club students are fixing bicycles at the festival for free, giving away meaningful prizes, and BMX team bicycle stunt showcase. Some students at the festival are saying, bicycle riding and outdoor activities are more influential for some people, because we want to keep our environment clean and healthy for our future.
