The Caltrain transportation runs from San Jose to San Francisco throughout the Peninsula in San Francisco Bay Area and hit a car on railroad tracks yesterday. Fortunately, the driver of the vehicle was saved by patrolling officers before his car was hit by the train. The driver was transported to Stanford Hospital for his non-serious minor injuries and was cited for unlawful appearance of driving under the influence including other unlawful violations.

The Caltrans state transportation agency has created traffic problems in the City of Pacifica along Highway-1 during roadway repairs. Unfortunately, Caltrans didn't share that repair project with city administrators for public awareness within city jurisdictions for preparation. Leading into traffic problems along Highway-1 on Monday because southbound lanes were closed including a car accident along the freeway. However, Caltrans have apologized for their failure to inform city administrators and creating traffic congestion during commuting hours.

The traffic on San Francisco Bay Area highways are getting worse on carpool lanes and need attention for a workable resolution. The economy is booming in San Francisco Bay Area with traffic congestion based on latest reports, and leading drivers to cheat by unlawfully using carpool lanes inappropriately. The state highway carpool lanes operation in the bay area is 52% lower than federal standards and continues to fail at 59% lower level.

The transbay tube for travelers across San Francisco Bay Area will shutdown effective today for repairs and updates for public safety. BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) transbay tube will close today from the end of service time until Monday, August 3, 2015 morning - no service on Saturday and Sunday. BART transbay tube closure will also happen on September 5th, 6th, and 7th, 2015 for more repairs and upgrades. Transit buses will be provided for commuters across the bay from San Francisco to Oakland especially working class people.

The California traffic laws indicate bicyclists have to stop completely at a stop sign just like vehicles. That's the state law San Francisco police officers are enforcing and bicyclists don't like it, including throughout San Francisco Bay Area local cities. Some vehicle drivers are supporting San Francisco Police Department on enforcing the state laws.

The San Francisco International Airport (SFO) international terminal was closed because of a suitcase at the airport without anyone attending to it. Airport officials and police shutdown part of airport international terminal yesterday, for public safety reasoning and handling of the unattended suitcase properly for security. Passengers traveling on international flights were impacted with flight delays, and domestic flight passengers were doing fine with their flight status.

The economy booming in San Francisco comes along with traffic developmental awareness for travelers commuting on business or pleasure within San Francisco Bay Area. The City of Petaluma in Sonoma County, California, is known for bicycling innovation and undergoing transportation projects with Caltrans partnership with SMART (Sonoma Marin Area Rail Transit). These construction projects will be in place from August 3 to October 30, 2015 impacting traffic on Highway 101, roadways entering downtown Petaluma and surrounding areas.

A proposal of having Warriors Basketball Team arena in San Francisco comes with many challenges including traffic control within the geographical area. Mission Bay Alliance group is opposing an arena in San Francisco within the proposal area because of potential traffic congestion. A UCSF campus is right across the proposal site for Warriors arena including AT&T Park where SF Giants play their home games. The City of San Francisco, Warriors, and UCSF officials have been sharing initiative information about a workable plan for traffic control.
