The Tech Shuttles started in San Francisco as a pilot project and it will become permanent in February 2016, and creating problems for some Castro District residents. The shuttles will continue to transport passengers from the city to other locations within Silicon Valley and Peninsula areas. According to SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) 125 shuttle stops are designated for Tech Shuttles, during morning commuting hours for pickup from 6 AM to 10 AM.

The San Francisco International Airport (SFO) will become more crowded after holidays are over because of upcoming NFL Super Bowl 50 on Sunday, February 7, 2016 in San Francisco Bay Area. This means more people will be traveling through SFO airport and other major airports in the Bay Area for National Football League (NFL) super bowl activities. The paramedics at SFO has been going through emergency training to prepare for medical needs at SFO on Super Bowl day.

During this holiday season travelers are increasingly flying within locations to meet with families and friends for the holidays. During last week on Wednesday, December 23, before Christmas a Southwest Flight 2547 safely landed with an emergency landing approach because of a landing gear mechanical problem. During yesterday on Sunday, December 27, another Southwest Flight 1655 was diverted to Oakland International Airport because of a pressure problem with the aircraft.

Some Bay Area tech companies are trying to make vehicles become more fuel efficient while the engine is operating at the same time. The vehicle engine will operate using it's engine cylinders and certain number of cylinders may shut-down, if it's not needed during the vehicle operating trip. The San Francisco Bay Area team of tech companies will have a software that operates in a way to off-set the vehicle cylinders while operating.

The protesters creating traffic problems along Highway 101 overpass entering San Francisco International Airport. The protesters locked hand-in-hand starting this afternoon because of San Francisco police shooting that killed Mario Woods. The protesters also displayed a sign saying "Justice for Mario Woods" during their activity creating traffic problems for commuters along Highway 101. The protesters posted their activity pictures on social media outlets, and CHP (California Highway Patrol) posted response messages on Twitter.

The Southwest Airlines flight 2547 made an emergency landing at Oakland International Airport because of mechanical problems. The airline was flying from Oakland to Chicago and because of mechanical problems, the plane has to return back to the airport. The commanding airplane pilot decided to return the plane back to Oakland International Airport after taking off at 6:13 AM to check for a maintenance problem. The airplane safely made an emergency landing and after checking, the airline landing gear was having problems and operating inappropriately.

The iconic Bay Bridge in San Francisco Bay Area was very hard to cross today because of two different car accidents. A flatbed truck spilled gallons of epoxy paint earlier today on Highway 80 around 3:55 AM and caused all lanes westbound to close. The highway lanes were reopened around 6:45 AM thereafter cleanup activities by Caltrans cleaning crew, and CHP (California Highway Patrol) mentioned the driver was cited for wrongfully spilling paint. Officials mentioned the driver or company will pay for highway cleaning fees or other related fees as necessary.

Protection of our natural environment in San Francisco Bay Area is critical and agencies continue to look for more ways to prevent more damages to our environment. San Francisco MTA (Municipal Transportation Agency) has fully changed it's 53 fueling facilities to renewable diesel for vehicles before the year ends. The SFMTA administration is making more ways and support of maintaining muni fleet vehicles in San Francisco, to remain the greenest bus fleet services in the country with efficiency.

The AC Transit Board of Directors have approved some improvement changes for transportation, within the region for next year as part of SEP Plan ACT approach. The transportation SEP (Service Expansion Plan) has received strong support from local communities and provided officials with necessary information. The improvement transportation information will include service line changes, schedules, and renumbering other appropriate service line buses. Some proposal changes will be effective December 20, 2015 and AC Transit will communicate with people for awareness.

A tour bus accident recently created a major problem in San Francisco regarding transporting passengers within city locations. The accident raised many questions about health and safety reasoning, including muni transportation services for traveling passengers within San Francisco. Recently two muni buses were caught on fire last week because of electrical connectors interaction with overhead wires. The San Francisco MTA (Municipal Transportation Agency) is putting approximately 300 muni buses out of service for inspection.
