Transit officials are reviewing camera units to make sure it records all images relating to negative activities on BART trains.

A hazmat team was called for assistance this morning because of vehicular collision on Highway-4 in Brentwood, California. One of the collided vehicle was a truck transporting pesticides and hazmat team was on location, to ensure of no environmental or passengers exposed to toxic mixtures during the accident. The hazmat team from Contra Costa County was immediately on location to screen the area for hazardous materials and environmental safety.

The muni buses in San Francisco will finally get air conditioning for the first time and passengers will feel the interior cooling air. Muni buses should have air conditioning systems during 2018 because it's been operating under city fogging climate, for many years with natural cooling air and considering climate changes. The air conditioning systems will cost about $15,000 - $25,000 for each system and total costing amount of about $5.1 million for the project operation.

Gun shootings on highways and roadways in San Francisco Bay Area is becoming more problematic for people. That's why cameras are being installed along Highway-4 in Pittsburg, California for protection because of recent highway shootings. The 14 photographic cameras installation system should be completed and functional by Monday as planned, and capturing criminal activities along the highway. The cameras will also be used as investigative tools as needed for evidence during criminal case matters.

The Caltrans transportation department plans to close some San Mateo Bridge lanes going westbound, for bridge repairs and allowing repair crews to do their job safely. The identified westbound bridge lanes will close for at least 5 days for Caltrans repair crews to fully repair a deck hole in the roadway with quality results. The damaged bridge lane was closed yesterday from 7 PM to 5 AM and repair crews will begin their work safely during the closing hours.
