The two cyclists were killed several hours from each other and upsetting bicycle coalition members. Because the bicyclists hit-and-run by vehicles can be avoided with with preventative actions by local police officers. The airplane flights within San Francisco Bay Area has become more and more problems with local residents because of ongoing noise from airplanes. The FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) has approved new flight paths for SurfAir flights, and sending more flights over the bay for noise reduction. The SurfAir PC-12 airplanes fly 23 airplanes to San Carlos Airport on a daily basis and creating more airplane noise for Atherton residents, Palo Alto, etc. The new ratified flight plan for SurfAir flights will become effective on July 5, 2016, and local residents are happy about the changes.

The transportation issues surrounding drones regarding safety matters may have new approach for small drones. The FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) new policies will have an impact on small drones for commercial operation - drones weighing 55 pounds or less. The small drones will only be allowed to operate during daytime hours and within view of the operator. A small cessna fixed wing airplane crashed onto a railway train tracks yesterday delaying people going to the basketball game. The NBA (National Basketball Association) finals championship game between Golden Gate Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers played yesterday at Oracle Arena in Oakland, California. Some people taking BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) were late to see the game because of train delays during an airplane crash in Hayward. Marsh Road in the peninsula within Menlo Park and Atherton is still closed for community improvement projects. Caltrans is planning to close East Bayshore Road between Pulgas Avenue and Laurel Lane because of work on Highway-101 and San Francisquito Creek improvement project. The roadway closure will begin on Saturday, June 25, 2016 and through Sunday, June 26, 2016 from 6 AM to 7 PM. Construction workers will direct pedestrians and bicyclists for safety reasoning as well as alternate routes.

The public transportation systems in San Francisco Bay Area needs a complete overhaul including maintenance repairs for BART train tracks. The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) system tracks have been making noise since 1972 operation, and planning to provide maintenance repairs as necessary. The BART administration is planning to shutdown Balboa Park station in San Francisco for multiple weekends during track repair maintenance. The identified station closure will begin during next month in July until repairs are completed sometime in October.
