The American Airlines have new requirements for emotional support animals traveling on air flights to ensure safety for all traveling passengers. The emotional traveling animals must be able to fit at passenger's feet location and/or smaller than 2 year old child to place in passenger's lap. The passenger's traveling with emotional support animals will not have aisle seats because of safety reasoning for all passengers. The flight emotional support animals must be trained to behave properly in public and under control at all times in the flight cabin.

The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) is changing the countdown timing on street traffic lights for pedestrian safety crossing. The motive is aligning therein safety traffic lights adjustment for the local Vision Zero city ordinance to protect pedestrians and bicyclists. The SFMTA is partnering with local agencies to avoid anymore traffic fatalities with therein positive policy changes. It will increase countdown time for pedestrians to cross the city streets especially seniors and disabled pedestrians.

The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) Central Subway railway tracking steel is reportedly the wrong type. The SFMTA officials requested the subway contractor to replace therein tracking steel with the correct type of high strength steel. The SFMTA project officials are sharing information with the subway contractor to decide if changing the tracking steel is necessary. Because both Central Subway responsible agencies are starting to point fingers and blaming the other agency.

The MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) and various local agencies are partnering today on May 10 for BTWD (Bike To Work Day) within San Francisco Bay Area. Including more than 400 nutritious energizer stations throughout nine regional areas in the Bay Area for bicyclists. The energizer stations will be open throughout morning commuting hours and during the evening for bike riders. The Caltrans and CHP (California Highway Patrol) partnership will oversee bike riders and pedestrians going across the Bay Bridge for safety.

The new BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) trains are scheduled to go across the Bay Area during next week. The BART administration tested therein new trains and run them through the tube for safety testing before allowing passengers onboard The California PUC (Public Utilities Commission) approved the new trains for services thereafter repairing doors and will load passengers safely. The BART new trains solidifies up to 20 trains for services across the Bay Area and along East Bay and South Bay lines.

The San Jose Sharks team files a lawsuit against VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) and BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) extension project in South Bay. The VTA extension project for BART to operate in South Bay just recently approved $4.7 billion proposal to make it happen. Including the single bore tunnel for therein BART extension project with hopes to minimize construction interruptions in downtown. The VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) and state DOJ (Department of Justice) will continue their partnership efforts to prevent human trafficking victims. The VTA and DOJ partnership is in place because this type of social issue will and continue to impact vulnerable families and children. The VTA transit agency will post human trafficking resourceful information at bus stop locations and offices including railway trolleys. The VTA administration is working closely with NHTRC (National Human Trafficking Resource Center) for resources and prevention approaches for victims.

The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) system is enforcing passengers to pay their fare to ride otherwise they will get a citation. The BART administration loses approximately $15 million to $25 million every year because of passengers not paying their fees to ride the train. The BART fare evaders come up with all types of excuses for not paying and those passengers will still get a citation. The BART rider fee evaders have to take care of therein citation otherwise it will become reported to CFTB (California Franchise Tax Board).

The ratified California SB1 (Senate Bill-1) allowed disbursement for transportation funding statewide and San Francisco Bay Area. Including Caltrain transit services state funding of $164.5 million from CalSTA (California State Transportation Agency) for improvement projects as well as electrification. The Caltrain improvement projects will include bicycle enhancement at local stations with Wi-Fi onboard electrified trains. The new state funding will help maximize electrification of the mainline system along the Peninsula for future ridership benefits.

The airline pilots flying into SFO Airport (San Francisco International Airport) were responsible for three out of five close-call collisions. The NTSB (National Transportation Safety Board) federal officials released a report identifying the pilot error for airlines at SFO airport during last 16 months. The airlines pilot error almost caused passengers to lost their life and another SFO Airport close-call was blamed on ATC (Air Traffic Control).
