The SFO (San Francisco International Airport) launches text accessibility for passengers on emergency situations at SFO Airport. It's an effort to enhance public safety situations at the airport for passengers, employees, and/or people at SFO Airport during emergency situations. The SFO Airport texting threshold will directly connect passengers and/or people to 911 services when necessary. The SFO Airport is opening for flights to Europe and Canada during next month in June and would like to ensure passengers are traveling safely.

The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) agency will finally operate transit services in South Bay starting Saturday, June 13, 2020. The BART services will operate in partnership with VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) transit agency in South Bay. The VTA worked closely with CPUC (California Public Utilities Commission) for the approval of therein operations Safety and Security Certificate. The VTA/BART partnership will ensure passengers are safe during transporting activities in South Bay.

The SMART agency is seeking communities input for transit services in North Bay because of the budget deficit created by COVID-19 health crisis. The AC (Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District) agency has therein closure for Posey Tube from Monday, May 18, 2020 to Wednesday, May 20, 2020 in East Bay. The bus service lines affected will not operate during night-time and early morning hours within identified time frame. Including the closure for Webster Tube between Tuesday, May 19, 2020 and Wednesday, May 20, 2020 - 10 PM to 5 AM. Some bus lines will be affected by therein roadway tube closures and encouraging passengers to seek for alternative ways.

The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) agency is enlarging therein parking lot at the Antioch Station effective Thursday, May 21, 2020. The BART Antioch Station is under consideration for more parking because of higher ridership and needs appropriate parking for passengers. The BART parking project will have approximately 850 parking stalls with ADA (American Disabilities Act) accessibility. Including new lights with professional landscaping surrounding the parking structure with safety and security systems.

The VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) transit agency celebrates National Bike Month of May aligned with their Bicycle Program in South Bay. The VTA transit is encouraging people to bike more and improving the Santa Clara County bicycle infrastructure. The VTA administration is providing bike resources, services, and facilities to make bike riding safe and healthy for people. The VTA passengers can ride their bikes and connect with appropriate bus lines to make it safely to their destination.

The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) shared the frequency for some muni buses will be increased effective Saturday, May 16, 2020. The muni bus line 9R will be reinstated for commuting passengers to ensure physical distancing is in place accordingly. To protect muni traveling passengers from COVID-19 virus and consistent with local, state, and federal public health advisory. The SFMTA transit agency is able to implement and update muni services because of more staffing and/or driving operators are increasing.
