The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) agency announced effective Monday, June 8, 2020, other stations will use Clipper cards only to get on trains within San Francisco Bay Area. The BART agency is expanding their advocacy for passengers to use Clipper cards only to pay without paper tickets. Because it prevents the spread of therein COVID-19 virus transmission and protecting BART commuting passengers. It will also avoid passengers direct contact with entrance gates equipment and without touching it when boarding BART trains.

The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) data shows 14% improvement for passengers in West Bay riding their bicycles within The City. The SFMTA data was comparative to last year's bicycle riding information at 37 locations during morning and evening traffic commuting hours. The transit agency is prioritizing technical ways to improve therein data system and improving the bicycle infrastructure management. The SFMTA administration is working closely with local bicycle coalitions to ensure bicyclists are safe riding their bikes in The City - aligned with Vision Zero SF.

The SMART (Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit) trains in North Bay cancels all weekend services effective immediately until further notice. The SMART Board of Directors have to make therein services decision aligned with community feedback and/or with decreasing ridership. The SMART trains cancellation services will include some weekday cancellation schedules to temporarily accommodate passengers. The SMART trains temporary schedules will apply to both Northbound and Southbound service trains in the mornings and evenings.

The SJC (Mineta San Jose International Airport) airline flights have been decreased by 97% and is planning to expand the airport in South Bay. The SJC Airport plans to add a concourse with gates and parking garage for airport vehicles, and upgrades for runways and aviation facilities. The SJC Airport plans to expand because the number of air traveling passengers will increase by more than 50% in the future. Including the airport hotel with a short-term parking garage available for up to 5000 parking spaces.

The AC (Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District) agency is updating some minor service changes in East Bay effective Sunday, June 14, 2020. The AC Transit modified their routing schedules on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 because of therein COVID-19 health pandemic in San Francisco Bay Area. The current modified changes will move pickup times for passengers later and/or earlier at therein routing pickup locations. The AC transit agency will continue to operate with schedules aligned with Sunday services transit schedules.
