The Caltrans state transportation and Food Truck operators are partnering to provide hot meals for delivery truck drivers at highway rest areas. The California Governor, Gavin Newsom, signed an Executive Order N52-20 alignment with FHA (Federal Highway Administration) approval, to allow selling food at 86 highway rest areas in San Francisco Bay Area and statewide. The Food Truck operators can sell hot meals to delivery truck drivers on state highways during the COVID-19 public health pandemic.

The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) is implementing a discount program to help seniors and people with disabilities in West Bay. Because of limited muni services created by the impact of therein COVID-19 health pandemic, and SFMTA announced a new program for transportation assistance. The SFMTA transportation program called ETC (Essential Trip Card) will partner with taxi services to help seniors and people with disabilities. The VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) Silicon Valley Extension Project Phase II for BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) services is continually under development. The VTA Silicon Valley Extension Project Phase II is an extension of BART services to downtown San Jose.
