The MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) released an updated report identifying San Francisco Bay Area traffic is getting worse, and showing 65% traffic increase since 2009 and making it worse traffic congestion in 15 years. MTC commissioners are hoping the report will encourage employers with ways to make it work for their employees, and hopefully with scheduling changes to make it less people on the freeways going to work. Because building more freeways and widening current freeways, and other roadways can be more unrealistic with supportive developmental elements.

Traveling in San Francisco Bay Area can be hard without dependable transportation including personal vehicles with less problematic issues regarding safety and healthy reasoning for drivers and passengers. Honda Motors have been fined $70 million by NHTSA (National Highway Transportation Safety Administration) for not reporting traffic accidents and injuries for the government. Including deaths and injuries of fatal accidents on freeways and roadways within San Francisco Bay Area and nationwide.

Traffic congestion in San Francisco Bay Area freeways and roadways have been increasingly making it hard for commuters, especially working class people traveling everyday to and from work making it harder for families and children. MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) has been working on ways and means of improvement to help with some resolution, and finally releasing the report today identifying comprehensive vital initiative signs of congested areas.

The Caltrain ridership has been increasing per recent reports and causing improvements to make it better for commuting passengers especially working class people. The Caltrain system operates within San Francisco Bay Area from San Jose to San Francisco along the Peninsula, and planning for and electrification system as part of the improvement plan saving our environment. The recent Caltrain reports indicate the impacts on the environment will not be as big as anticipated and electrified trains will not help with traffic congestion either.

Several passengers recently arrived at SFO (San Francisco International Airport) from the Middle East after they have been in the plane for 28 hours international flight, and have been sitting in the airplane at a Middle East Airport for 12 hours on the airport tarmac. This created anger for flight passengers and crew members including no food or drinking water for relief, and flight attendants keep telling passengers the airplane is departing.

The new year is starting off with how BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) will try to balance it's financial budget including improvements and other transportation budgetary elements. Considering a recently approved new union contract for union workers including health care plans and pay raise because it was one of the differing aspect of negotiations. Therefore, some BART locations will increase there parking fees starting sometime this month and proposing to start on January 20th.

Reports indicate passengers are increasingly riding transit and BART in San Francisco Bay Area, especially working class people, and local transportation agencies are working together for improvement services. The WCCTAC Board (West Contra Costa Transportation Advisory Committee) unanimously approved a pursuit for a study to improve transit services within Contra Costa and Alameda Counties.

Transportation services in San Francisco Bay Area is always looking for ways to improve because of traffic congestion, including other elements to improve transportation keeping our environment safe within the bay area. AC Transit is having a public hearing on January 14, 2015 at 5 PM in Oakland, and wants to hear from people regarding expansion transit services. These improvement services are in place because of transit ridership increase and some improvement services have been in place accordingly on December 7, 2014 as a pilot project.

The San Francisco Bay Area BART transit announced yesterday that WiFi services contract is terminated with WFR (WiFi Rail Inc.) due to completion of trial basis. The WFR company officials are saying the agreement contract was for long-term and BART is backing out of a signed contract illegally. BART officials are saying the networking system offered by WFR, a Sacramento company, did not meet expectations as constructed to provide and perform on a trial basis.
