The United Airlines new routing flights include Polaris business travelers from SFO (San Francisco International Airport) to Tokyo, Japan. The new United Airlines international flights will have updated business cabins along the transpacific routes with greater customer services. Including special refreshments and amenities with comfortable blankets and pillows for resting as well as cabin business setting. The Tokyo services will be the third international routing flights offering United Airlines new premium cabin services.

The AC Transit (Alameda Contra Costa Transit) system is launching a mobile safety app for passengers to share information for their safety. The new safety app is part of the AC Transit commitment to provide passengers and drivers with safety vehicle environments. The new smartphone app can be easily used by passengers to report illegal activities on the bus for safety reasoning. Therein "See It, Share It" AC TipNow project is easy for passengers to operate and anonymously report disruptive and/or disruptive behaviors.

The BART (Bay Area Rapid Test) staffing team reviewed the problem with electrical power surges creating trains to lack operations. The BART repairing team was able to find solutions to trains with problems during last week commuting hours for passengers. The problematic issues happened because of metallic particles from rail grinding and recent rain may have washed into the railing operation systems. The San Francisco transportation officials are considering legal actions to secure data information from the state to help with local traffic congestion. The Examiner reported previously about Uber and other ride-sharing companies have 45,000 active drivers in San Francisco. The San Francisco Transportation Authority board members are requesting the City Attorney to look into this matter on securing Uber ride-sharing informational data.

The Alaska Airlines adding new nonstop flights to Dallas Love Field from SJC (San Jose International Airport). The new flights will begin February 16, 2018 and the second nonstop flight to Dallas Love Field Airport. The Dallas Love Field Airport flights are Alaska Airlines 20th nonstop destination from SJC Airport. The Alaska Airlines officials also announced other nonstop flights to Tucson, Arizona, and Austin, Texas beginning August 28, 2018. Including four nonstop flights to Los Angeles, California starting September 20, 2018.

The Apple company is entering the self-driving autonomous vehicle competition and received its legal permit for operation. The California DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) added the tech giant company to 30 companies experimenting their self-driving vehicles on state highways and local roadways. The latest time Apple acknowledged their interest in Project Titan was back in December, when a letter was submitted to federal NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration).

The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) system in San Francisco Bay Area is educating passengers on how to become safe and healthy when riding BART transportation. The BART administration tweeted "Don't Be Creepy 101" posters for people to become aware of their surroundings and part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The Uber ride-sharing company is going through another challenge and may face penalty charges from California regulators. The allegations would cost Uber $1.13 million for failing to suspend drunk drivers while transporting passengers - intoxicated from alcohol or drugs. The CPUC (California Public Utilities Commission) requires Uber and other ride-sharing companies to have a zero-tolerance policy and activate it for passenger's protection.
