SFMTA REALLOCATING TRANSIT FUNDING IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA
The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) is being criticized for not spending bond funding for transportation improvement projects faster. The San Francisco voters approved bonding funds to improve transportation in The City and SFMTA is not spending it fast enough as appropriated. The SFMTA Board of Directors have been discussing how $26 million bond money should be spent quicker if not for programs to improve muni bus and train services.
