A situation of six passengers attacked, threatened, and robbed by teens on BART trains have created an unsafe environment and passengers are filing law suits against BART. The passengers filing law suits are represented by Attorney Paul Justi as their legal representative council. The lawsuit is filed at Alameda County Superior Court, claiming that BART trains and/or local stations are not safety zones for passengers but for criminals.

The month of September is National Rail Safety Month and San Francisco Bay Area transit agencies are educating people about safety matters in the Bay Area. The Caltrain engineering operators will limit horn noises when crossing San Bruno, Belmont, and San Carlos train stations.
