The Tesla Motors company factory is in Fremont and also leasing two commercial buildings in Fremont with renovation construction projects happening. The two building properties are on Dumbarton Circle nearby Dumbarton Bridge and approximately 11 miles from Tesla factory off Highway Interstate 880. The headquarters in Palo Alto is approximately 20 miles and it appears with an attempt for Tesla Motors to expand operations in San Francisco Bay Area. The Tesla Motors expansion operation would bring 1,000 jobs locally in the Bay Area along with possible ways to avoid traffic congestion.

The AC (Alameda Contra Costa Transit District) provides public transit services within East Bay regional areas, and proposing some improvement projects for passengers. The improvement projects will include relocation and intersecting various bus lines including Line 97 along Union City Boulevard and Hesperian Boulevard. The changes will include intelligent traffic signal systems with sensors to improve traffic and pedestrian accessibility. These improvement project elements will enhance services between Union City BART and Bay Fair BART stations.

The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) Phase-II extension project to Silicon Valley will be under review during this month regarding bore-tunnel elements. The BART and VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) issued a joint announcement about the status of therein project, and VTA is the funding agency and designer for the project tunnel. The BART likes the twin-bore tunnel and VTA likes the single-bore tunnel, and a decision will be made to move the project forward accordingly.

The Blue Angels fleet weekend activities in San Francisco Bay Area will be crowded and alternative transportation is provided for people. The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) is providing extra services for muni buses and railway transit trains - Friday, October 6, 2017 to Sunday, October 8, 2017. The SFMTA will provide free rides for military staffing personnel on muni buses including cable cars and may be some delays because of increased ridership.

The MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) announced the debut opening of Express Lanes on Highway I-680 on Monday, October 9, 2018. The Highway I-680 carpool lanes between Walnut Creek and San Ramon will convert into Express Lanes allowing solo drivers to pay toll fees. The access to lanes will remain toll-free for carpool vehicles, buses, motorcycles, and clean air vehicles. The vehicles using Express Lanes on weekdays between 5 AM to 8 PM will require a properly mounted FasTrak toll device.

Some of local school students and parents started walking to school today in a form of transportation honoring the National Walk To School Day within the Bay Area. The annual National Walk To School Day is observed on the first Wednesday of October every calendar year. The goal is for people to exercise on the way to school and enjoying the weather, helping save the natural environment and living a healthy life. Many local San Francisco Bay Area students, parents, and communities started walking to school today.

The Blue Angels Fleet Week 2017 in San Francisco Bay Area is here and already capturing local eye-viewing attention with aircraft's roaring sound with speed. The Blue Angels Fleet Week will have Navy aircraft exhibitions for people starting tomorrow on Tuesday including spectacular air shows in the Bay Area. The SFPD (San Francisco Police Department) is having high alert during the Fleet Week activities ensuring people are safe because of the massacre shooting in Las Vegas.

The Alameda County Transportation Commission (Alameda CTC) reported this month approval of $20 million for contractual infrastructure projects. The improvement project funding is part of Measure B and Measure BB approved by local voters for transportation in previous elections. The East Bay local improvement projects include I-80/Ashby Interchange in Emeryville, I-880 Interchange at Whipple Road, and Industrial Parkway in Hayward. Including I-680 Sunol Northbound Express Lane Phase-2 in Pleasant and Fremont to help with traffic problems.

The MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) report identifies improved and poor road conditions in San Francisco Bay Area. The MTC reported PCI (Pavement Condition Index) score identifies City of Dublin in East Bay with 85 and best roads in the Bay Area, and City of Larkspur with 41 along with poor local roadways. The MTC data reports local Bay Area road conditions improved slightly as of last year, and one scoring point from an average in 2015. A local municipal city scoring 90 points or higher within therein PCI formula means roadways are in excellent condition.

The VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) is donating community transit buses in South Bay to the Homeless Veterans Emergency Facility in San Francisco Bay Area. It's part of the commitment VTA has provided for all communities thereafter sharing partnership with local communities. The veterans facility staffing presented VTA with the need of transportation and VTA is able to help with a vehicle donation. The VTA usually auction therein buses and decided to donate community buses for veterans transportation needs at this time.
