The year 2020 is approaching quickly and Caltrain with BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) agency is offering extra train services on New Years Eve. Because of the annual fireworks show in San Francisco and offering convenient transit services for passengers to watch the spectacular fireworks. The last Caltrain to leave San Francisco station is at 2 AM and last BART service is at 3 AM. The Caltrain and BART transit services will operate on Sunday schedules during New Years Day.

The Christmas Day is over and New Years Day is approaching quickly and SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) is offering free muni rides in the city on New Years Day. Including free rides with other transit agencies within San Francisco Bay Area starting Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at 8 PM to Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at 5 AM. The SFMTA administration is sharing with people to expect delays with local traffic, along The Embarcadero around 11 PM and 1 AM during New Years Eve.

The holiday season is happening in San Francisco Bay Area and some transit agencies are changing schedules and/or offering free services on Christmas Day or New Years Day. The families and friends are busy during the holiday season with many events and/or shopping for gifts, etc. The transit agencies in the Bay Area are changing schedules to make it convenient and/or affordable for passengers - some transit free rides on New Years Day! The local transit offices will be closed on Christmas Day, December 25, 2019 and New Years Day, January 1, 2020.

The annual Caltrain holiday toy drive in West Bay Area has been a successful event considering the stormy weather! The Holiday Train collected approximately 1161 toys during local stops at West Bay stations, and 259 toys collected by SamTrans transit agency = 1420 total toys. The Caltrain Holiday Train made stops at local stations for toy collection and entertainment during the event. The Caltrain administration shared their thankful regards to supporting partnership agencies and sponsorship. Including local community support and volunteers for their help during the holiday toy drive.

The holiday activities in San Francisco this weekend is happening without any impact with muni transit services. The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) is scheduling regular service routes for passengers during holiday activities in the city. Some of the holiday traditional activities include annual Holiday Lighted Boat Parade on Friday, December 13, 2019 evening and Parol Lantern Festival with parade on Saturday, December 14, 2019.

The GGBHT (Golden Gate Bridge Highway & Transportation District) agency is having their transit bus drive for food during the holiday season in North Bay. The GGBHT holiday transit bus will be traveling within random routes of the Golden Gate Transit bus throughout January 2020. The holiday bus is wrapped with an image of the Golden Gate Bridge with the Holiday Food Drive sign on it for the annual event. The GGBHT agency is collaborating with other local companies to support less fortunate families with food during the holiday season in North Bay.

The VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) transit agency is having their toy drive for children on Saturday, December 14, 2019 in South Bay. The VTA bus for therein annual "Stuff The Bus" holiday event will be parked on Market Street in front of Fairmont Hotel in San Jose - 9 AM to 5 PM. It's a collaborating partnership toy drive effort with U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots, to have toys for children in need during the holiday season. The holiday toys will be stored in Toys for Tots warehouse for distribution before Christmas Day.

The holiday season is here and toy drives for children is happening in San Francisco Bay Area. The SamTrans (San Mateo County Transit District) agency in West Bay is having the annual "Stuff a Bus" toy drive on Friday, December 13, 2019 at Serramonte Shopping Center between 2 PM and 6 PM in Daly City. It's a collaborating partnership effort with Wild 94.9 to collect contribution toys for children to have Christmas presents. The SamTrans holiday bus will park in front on Jamba Juice at 3 Serramonte Center in Daly City.

The AC (Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District) transit agency is changing services effective Sunday, December 15, 2019 to make it better for East Bay passengers. The AC administration is looking to provide more efficient services with reliability, and better services frequency for passengers in East Bay. Including increase services for some transit bus lines and accommodating passengers for Cal State University East Bay. The AC transit agency Board of Directors approved therein improvement changes based on feedback from passengers and local communities.

Happy Holidays to ALL people! The SMART (Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit) trains in North Bay is opening new services for the extension program for Larkspur and Novato. The SMART administration is planning to open therein services for passengers on Saturday, December 14, 2019. The services for passengers will happen thereafter ribbon cutting ceremonies on Friday, December 13, 2019 and Saturday, December 14, 2019. The transit agency is inviting local communities and leaders to attend the celebration during ribbon cutting ceremonies.
