COMMUTING HARDSHIP OVER THE BAY BRIDGE TODAY IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA
The iconic Bay Bridge in San Francisco Bay Area was very hard to cross today because of two different car accidents. A flatbed truck spilled gallons of epoxy paint earlier today on Highway 80 around 3:55 AM and caused all lanes westbound to close. The highway lanes were reopened around 6:45 AM thereafter cleanup activities by Caltrans cleaning crew, and CHP (California Highway Patrol) mentioned the driver was cited for wrongfully spilling paint. Officials mentioned the driver or company will pay for highway cleaning fees or other related fees as necessary.
