The Marin Transit services agency in North Bay is adjusting local transit services schedule effective Sunday, December 13, 2020. The transit agency Route 71X weekday services cancelled some morning with afternoon peak hourly service going northbound and southbound. The Route 35 will adjust some weekday services travel times because of therein local traffic conditions, and Route 171 will add services on Sundays with late night hourly services.

The Caltrain services in West Bay will operate on latest revised schedules effective Monday, December 14, 2020. The Caltrain latest service changes will provide more physical distancing for passengers onboard, and allowing more safety with healthy elements for commuting passengers. The transit agency will have two trains for each hour during weekday schedules, and one train for each hour during weekend schedules.

The WCCTA (Western Contra Costa Transit Authority) WestCAT transit agency in East Bay is having a virtual holiday food drive. The WestCAT holiday food drive to help families and children is happening until Thursday, December 31, 2020 through the Food Bank in Contra Costa and Solano counties. The holiday Food Bank will continue to provide safe and healthy nutritional food for local families and children. It provides food programs to address the local needs during the holiday season, and reducing food waste to feed families and children in need.

The CTC (California Transportation Commission) agency awards $107.2 million funding for a project in South Bay at Santa Cruz County. The SCCRTC (Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission) will receive therein grant funding through Solutions for Congested Corridor Program and Local Competitive Partnership Program. The SCCRTC agency will utilize therein funding for improvement projects to increase roadway safety and/or improving transit services in South Bay.

The STS (Sonoma County Airport) commercial airport in North Bay has been recognized for its AHA (Airport Health Accreditation) alignment with health and safety measures! The ACI (Airports Council International) recognized STS Airport for prioritizing health and safety for traveling passengers in North Bay. The ACI health and safety program called AHA provides an assessment aligned with their health measures in response to therein COVID-19 pandemic.

The SamTrans (San Mateo County Transit District) agency board in West Bay approves zero-emission plan for San Francisco Bay Area. The transit agency Board of Directors plan to transform transit fleet buses into 100% zero-emissions by 2038 in the Bay Area. The SamTrans agency is doubling therein zero-emissions effort aligned with state requirements for transit fleet agencies. The board approval of therein zero-emission plan will have 50% of SamTrans fleet buses purchased before 2026 to be electric.

The County Connections transit agency in East Bay has launched a pilot program to help paratransit services in San Francisco Bay Area. The transit agency pilot program is collaborating with other transit agencies in East Bay to make it happen within service areas in Contra Costa County. The One-Seat Regional Ride Program will help make traveling within service areas easier and safer for paratransit riders. The transit agency improvement program will terminate transfers for passengers crossing other multiple service areas, and streamlining transit services for paratransit passengers.

The SJC (San Jose International Airport) commercial airport in South Bay is displaying artworks within the airport at Terminal B. The SJC Airport personnel was able to work closely with OCA (Office of Cultural Affairs) in San Jose and artists for therein artwork exhibition at the airport. The SJC Airport and OCA public art partnership will have each artwork display at the airport for five weeks until May 2021 at Terminal B Arrivals Hall.

The CTC (California Transportation Commission) agency awards $407 million for Bay Area projects through MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission). The CTC finalized their statewide funding awards and MTC will manage therein Bay Area regional funds for local improvement projects. The CTC funding allocation is an alignment of three statewide programs: Solutions For Congested Corridors, Trade Corridor Enhancement, and Local Partnership.
