The SolTrans agency in North Bay expanded their transit center in downtown Vallejo within San Francisco Bay Area. The SolTrans transit agency is recruiting local artists for the public art sculptures project at therein transit center. The transit agency will have available funding for thereby public arts project to create sculptures at the Vallejo Transit Center in south county. The SolTrans project artists will design and create artwork sculptures for installation at therein downtown transit center.

The San Francisco Mayor, London Breed, in West Bay is opposing the MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) regional transit plan for the Bay Area. The San Jose Mayor, Sam Liccardo, in South Bay is not supporting therein transit plan as well as a delegation of California Bay Area Legislatures. The MTC approved thereby Plan Bay Area 2050 within the regional areas including a mandate for employees to Work From Home. The two Bay Area mayors and legislators delegation shared their concerns with a letter to the MTC Chairperson.

The OAK (Oakland International Airport) commercial airport in East Bay is partnering with City Health Urgent Care to have another COVID-19 airport testing center. The OAK Airport second testing center is at the main terminal to help passengers and airport employees, and open for the public COVID-19 testing as well. The OAK Airport health partnership with City Health Urgent Care is the first airport certified by the State of Hawaii for being trusted traveling partners.

The Caltrans (California Department of Transportation) is partnering with a South Bay agency for the Highway 1 improvement project. The Caltrans is partnering with SCCRTC (Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission) agency for therein project to ease traffic congestion in South Bay. The improvement project partnership agencies provided an online open house for public review, and requesting public feedback by 5 PM on Monday, October 19, 2020.

The MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) agency is endorsing Measure RR and Measure DD within San Francisco Bay Area. The MTC administration approved their support for Measure RR for revenues to help Caltrain with operational funding. The Measure RR is also supported by San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara counties to pass by two-thirds vote for approval. It would provide dedicated funding sources for Caltrain to help with maintenance and operation of trains, as well as electrified trains as part of the Caltrain Modernization Program.

The SMART (Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit) train agency in North Bay receives AA rating in San Francisco Bay Area. The S&P (Standard & Poor's) Global Ratings issued therein AA rating for SMART regarding their refinancing construction debt proposal. Including an affirmative AA bond rating for SMART aligned with existing bonds credibility thereafter procedural reviews. The S&P Global Ratings issued therein AA rating for SMART in long-term with anticipation of $123.4 million revenues from Measure Q sales tax.

The annual awards are provided by ENR (Engineering News Record) for projects throughout the State of California - CONGRATS to Alameda CTC. The transit agency was awarded for their Highway I-880 Northbound Safety and Operational Improvements at 23rd and 29th Avenues. The Highway 880 in East Bay is a major transporting route for commuters and creating traffic congestion during commuting hours in the Bay Area.

The SCCRTC (Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission) agency in South Bay completed their new Bicycle Signage Program. The transit agency's signage project was to install bicycle signs throughout the county to help bicycle riders find their ways in South Bay. It's an effort to increase bicycle riders with safety elements and SCCRTC signage program crew was able to completely installed 303 bicycle signs countywide. Including long-distance bicycle riders journey for enjoyment with healthy exercise, and accessing fun destinations throughout the county.

The Marin Transit agency in North Bay is offering free rides countywide for passengers during Election Day on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. The transit agency board approved free rides for passengers starting on Saturday, October 31, 2020 until election day in North Bay. It will give local passengers an opportunity to have a free ride to the polling places to vote without worrying about transportation on election day. The Marin Transit agency is providing therein promotional effort for local passengers and having touchless boarding process to avoid the COVID-19 virus.
