The VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) transit services agency in South Bay is progressively moving forward with their plan to reopen railway services. The VTA light railway services will hopefully reopens during the end of this week, and thereafter testing, track and system inspections to be part of Phase 3 services Restoration Plan. Our prayers will continue with VTA's family of employees, and it's time to get back on track with transit services for the people in South Bay.

The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) services agency in San Francisco Bay Area is welcoming back transit services with their Welcome Back Plan. The BART transit services plan outlines new schedules with more trains for commuting passengers, and operating nearly regular service levels before the pandemic. The transit services showing more passengers are taking BART trains to avoid local vehicular traffic congestion, and supporting regional transit services for work and/or school transportation.

The SolTrans (Solano County Transit) service agency in North Bay is welcoming back transit services for Solano Community College students. The SolTrans transit services for students will be available for all campus locations countywide, and it's free services for all students and they must have valid Student ID cards. The students have to show their Student ID cards to the bus driving operators and secure their free transit ride for the day.

The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) services agency in West Bay has been operating therein iconic cable cars with limited schedules. The return of therein iconic cable cars are welcoming for passengers and making them feel like at home again! The SFMTA muni agency has been operating therein transit lines for free throughout the month of August 2021 and people are liking their iconic cable car return. It's a celebration month for the iconic cable cars return and making it free for the whole month can make it special.

The Alameda CTC (County Transportation Commission) services agency in East Bay received their Achievement Award for 9 consecutive years! The Alameda CTC recognition award is for excellence in financial reporting through GFOA (Government Finance Officers Association) of the United States and Canada. The Alameda CTC agency received therein Achievement for Excellence Award thereafter turning in their AFR (Annual Financial Report) for fiscal year ending reporting elements.

The SCCRTC (Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission) services agency in South Bay has a project along Highway 9 with local road closures. The improvement highway project with full daytime closures on Highway 9 should be done by Friday, August 20, 2021 per scheduling and reopens therein highway between Paradise Park and Glengarry Road. The SCCRTC highway improvement project is a collaboration with Caltrans (California Department of Transportation).

The Caltrans (California Department of Transportation) agency in San Francisco Bay Area released their Draft 2021 ITSP (Interregional Transportation Strategic Plan). The Caltrans agency is requesting public input for therein Draft 2021 ITSP to align with goals and strategies to help guide for highway and rail improvement projects. The Caltrans and partnership agencies will develop regional improvement projects to be more safe, and efficient to move people and goods within statewide jurisdictions.

The STS (Sonoma County Airport) commercial airport in North Bay is constructing their first solar energy system in the Bay Area. The STS Airport long term parking Lot B is closed for therein solar energy system project and people can use parking Lot A during constructions. The STS Airport solar energy system project will hopefully be done by Tuesday, August 24, 2021 and reopen long term parking Lot B for the public. The STS Airport personnel posted parking signs to share with passengers alternate options during constructions.

The SFO (San Francisco International Airport) commercial airport in West Bay is participating with UAS (United Against Slavery) to stop human trafficking. The SFO Airport joins UAS by therein NOST (National Outreach Survey for Transportation) project to stop global human trafficking. The UAS effort became therein first recipient of USDOT (U.S. Department of Transportation) to receive the Transportation Impact Award of combating human trafficking.

The OAK (Oakland International Airport) commercial airport in East Bay received A+ and A ratings by Fitch Ratings outlook from negative to stable. The Fitch Ratings affirmed thereby ratings for OAK Airport with A+ for senior lien revenue bonds, A for intermediate lien revenue bonds and underlying bank bonds rating for commercial paper notes. The affirmation of therein Fitch Ratings for OAK Airport outlook revisions to stable, reflects the diminishing operational and financial risk during the pandemic with increasing passenger volumes in recent months.
