The Southwest Airlines flight 2547 made an emergency landing at Oakland International Airport because of mechanical problems. The airline was flying from Oakland to Chicago and because of mechanical problems, the plane has to return back to the airport. The commanding airplane pilot decided to return the plane back to Oakland International Airport after taking off at 6:13 AM to check for a maintenance problem. The airplane safely made an emergency landing and after checking, the airline landing gear was having problems and operating inappropriately.

The iconic Bay Bridge in San Francisco Bay Area was very hard to cross today because of two different car accidents. A flatbed truck spilled gallons of epoxy paint earlier today on Highway 80 around 3:55 AM and caused all lanes westbound to close. The highway lanes were reopened around 6:45 AM thereafter cleanup activities by Caltrans cleaning crew, and CHP (California Highway Patrol) mentioned the driver was cited for wrongfully spilling paint. Officials mentioned the driver or company will pay for highway cleaning fees or other related fees as necessary.

Protection of our natural environment in San Francisco Bay Area is critical and agencies continue to look for more ways to prevent more damages to our environment. San Francisco MTA (Municipal Transportation Agency) has fully changed it's 53 fueling facilities to renewable diesel for vehicles before the year ends. The SFMTA administration is making more ways and support of maintaining muni fleet vehicles in San Francisco, to remain the greenest bus fleet services in the country with efficiency.

The AC Transit Board of Directors have approved some improvement changes for transportation, within the region for next year as part of SEP Plan ACT approach. The transportation SEP (Service Expansion Plan) has received strong support from local communities and provided officials with necessary information. The improvement transportation information will include service line changes, schedules, and renumbering other appropriate service line buses. Some proposal changes will be effective December 20, 2015 and AC Transit will communicate with people for awareness.

A tour bus accident recently created a major problem in San Francisco regarding transporting passengers within city locations. The accident raised many questions about health and safety reasoning, including muni transportation services for traveling passengers within San Francisco. Recently two muni buses were caught on fire last week because of electrical connectors interaction with overhead wires. The San Francisco MTA (Municipal Transportation Agency) is putting approximately 300 muni buses out of service for inspection.

The upcoming NFL Super Bowl 50 hosting City of San Francisco is having discussions with Super Bowl 50 Committee members regarding local transportation for people. The San Francisco MTA (Municipal Transportation Agency) and CAC (Community Advisory Council) members held a public meeting on Thursday regarding Super Bowl 50 transportation matters. The CAC members are urging SFMTA board members to have an agreement with NFL (National Football League) Super Bowl 50 Committee regarding local transportation.

The holiday season is here with more noise problems within San Francisco Bay Area cities, especially within Peninsula geographical area communities. Many people are traveling in many ways during the holiday season, including airplanes for families and friends during their traveling plans. However, airplanes flying into SFO (San Francisco International Airport) creates more noise now than before, and creating noise complaints from Palo Alto local residents.

The latest studies indicate some western metropolitan cities listing top four with busy traffic before Thanksgiving. Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, and San Francisco as the busiest traffic city before the holiday activities.

The rain is certainly needed statewide in California and also creating some highway closure for driver's safety. Commuting drivers traveling along Highway 101 going north in Marin County, California, finds out the highway has been closed because of rainfall flooding and high tides. The highway off-ramp to state Highway-1 along Stinson Beach was closed by Caltrans for safety and encourage drivers to take alternate routes.

The working class people commuting across San Francisco Bay Area bridges is getting worst early mornings around 5 AM everyday. The Bay Area Toll Authority released a reporting indicating toll-payer fees increase between 5 AM and 6 AM during daily commuting hours. Needless to day, it also creates traffic congestion areas within Bay Area roadways and highways, for working class people during evening commuting hours as well. A graphical comparison shows increase along 4 San Francisco Bay Area bridges, with San Mateo Bridge (80.6%) and Bay Bridge (75%) sharing higher percentage increase.
