NEW LAWS FOR DRIVERS WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

Happy New 2019! The new year brings new laws for drivers in San Francisco Bay Area and statewide for safety reasoning to prevent more vehicular accidental issues of concern. Some of the new laws will include having an ignition interlock device installation for repeat, and first time offenders for DUI (Driving Under Influence) drivers. The interlock device can be in place for 12 to 48 months depending on the judge decision with discretionary consideration. The other new laws will include car dealers to attach a temporary license plate before the car rolls out on public roads. The car temporary license plate will have a number assigned by DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) for car safety tracking. Other new enacted laws for drivers will include more time for car smogs and optional gender identification on drivers license for people.
