VTA PAYING MORE FOR TRANSIT SERVICES IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA
The VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) transit agency is paying approximately $61,000 more for services during the U2 concert at Levi Stadium because of curfew violation. The San Francisco 49ers Football team owns Levi Stadium where U2 concert was performing, and the concert didn't finish at 10 PM as regulated by City of Santa Clara ordinance. The city is requesting 49ers to pay a violation fee and VTA transit is paying more for services, because the concert didn't finish at 10 PM per local curfew city ordinance.
