VTA RAILWAY PROJECT UPDATES IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) transit agency in South Bay is currently having construction to extend their railway services in East San Jose. The VTA transportation agency railway extension project called EBRC (Eastridge BART Regional Connector) is happening with traffic challenges in South Bay. The transit agency railway extension project requires construction to happen on Capitol Expressway between Story Road, Ocala Avenue, and Cunningham Avenue. The construction repair teams will work on locations between 10 PM to 5:30 AM on weekdays, and 10 PM to 9 AM during weekends until Friday, August 8, 2025. The VTA transit agency is encouraging drivers to seek alternative routes, and avoid traffic challenges at therein project construction locations.
