THE VINE TRANSIT FUNDING SUPPORT IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The Vine Transit services agency in North Bay received $6.8 million federal funding to purchase hybrid-electric buses for their fleet improvement services. The Vine Transit transporting services operate under NVTA (Napa Valley Transportation Authority) operational standards countywide. The identified local supportive federal funding is through thereby FTA (Federal Transit Administration) aligned with therein Low or No Emission Vehicle Grant Program. The Vine Transit services operational fleet will have six new hybrid-electric buses, and replacing diesel and unleaded fuel buses to protect our environment.
