TRANSIT TRANSPORTATION CHALLENGES WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The Governance Seminar last month in San Francisco shared may challenges for transit transportation in San Francisco Bay Area regional areas. The performance standards set by MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) for transit transportation is a national systematic model. It's a model to engage efficient public transportation services and providing effective and quality services for passengers especially working class people. However, the public discussion discloses many challenges facing economical support and tax funding can vary with the economy status. Some of transportation panel members share difficulty with transit mapping structure for people and creating less people wanting to ride on transit.

"Even though transit is paid by our taxes, people don't want to leave their cars behind because of commuting distance and it doesn't hurt them economically," said Steve Heminger, Local MTC Regional Executive Director. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
