TRANSIT SOCIAL SAFETY PARTNERSHIP WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) and state DOJ (Department of Justice) will continue their partnership efforts to prevent human trafficking victims. The VTA and DOJ partnership is in place because this type of social issue will and continue to impact vulnerable families and children. The VTA transit agency will post human trafficking resourceful information at bus stop locations and offices including railway trolleys. The VTA administration is working closely with NHTRC (National Human Trafficking Resource Center) for resources and prevention approaches for victims.
