STATE FUNDING FOR CALTRAIN WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The ratified California SB1 (Senate Bill-1) allowed disbursement for transportation funding statewide and San Francisco Bay Area. Including Caltrain transit services state funding of $164.5 million from CalSTA (California State Transportation Agency) for improvement projects as well as electrification. The Caltrain improvement projects will include bicycle enhancement at local stations with Wi-Fi onboard electrified trains. The new state funding will help maximize electrification of the mainline system along the Peninsula for future ridership benefits. Part of Caltrain improvement projects will lengthen boarding platforms at local stations to accommodate longer electric trains.

"We're happy SB1 is investing with our transit services to accelerate improvement projects for riders and communities we serve," said Jeannie Bruins, Chairperson, Caltrain Board of Directors. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
