SFMTA EMISSION GOALS WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) services agency in West Bay participated with therein City of San Francisco new Climate Action Plan. The City of San Francisco is launching their new Climate Action Plan for action, and including SFMTA transit services reduction with greenhouse gas emissions. The new Climate Action Plan overall goal is reducing local emissions by 61% during 2030, and reaching net-zero emissions by 2040 to protect our environment. The two transportation goals will be reducing vehicle traveling miles by cars, and small trucks by 25% during 2030 and 30% during 2040. As well as increasing cars and small trucks with zero-emission in San Francisco by 25% in 2030 and 100% by 2040.
