The MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) planning services agency in San Francisco Bay Area is managing highway drivers with assistance when necessary. The MTC regional strategic agency is partnering with CHP (California Highway Patrol) officers to assist drivers on highways with malfunctioning vehicles. The MTC and CHP partnership provides FSP (Freeway Service Patrol) staffing team to help drivers on Bay Area highways when their vehicle breaks down. The FSP assisting team on Bay Area regional highways provide free help for local drivers when necessary, and that means fixing a flat tire and/or clearing vehicular accidents on local highways. The FSP Team has been providing great local assistance for drivers on Bay Area highways since 1992, and they're patrolling regional highways during commuting hours on weekdays and/or higher volume traffic areas on weekends - visit www.mtc.ca.gov for more information and/or service updates.
